Ying Zheng is a wonderful actor! I think his chubby cheeks adds charm to the Shang Xirui's personality and makes his painted Opera face look more feminine.

Why he has to gain weight by eating hug feet? That is not healthy to eat so much fatty, greasy food. I heard because the real person loved to eat hug feet before each performance. Still it is not healthy.
He gain weight in order to get a chubby cheek that characterize his role. The reason why he’s eating pork knuckle because it’s the character’s habit eating it before getting on stage. Healthy or not, he’s an actor. There’s responsibility that actors should carry. Plus it’s not risky either. It’s just eating pork knuckle.

It's the character. I guess you didn't watch the drama. Lol don't worry. The actor is already losing weight, although, I don't think he had gained enough weight to be called fat. Still, the standard for actors are pretty high.
Ghét nguyên cái nv chỉ vì cái nết ăn, Trần Nhẫn Hương dễ thương bao nhiêu thì ông chủ Thương thô kệch bấy nhiêu ... đã vậy tối ngày nhảy đong đỏng lên, phim này chỉ ko ưng mấy nv : em vợ Mễ Nhiệt ( sửa cái mặt giả trân, diễn xuất dở), nv chính chả khác gì Ngụy Anh Lạc thâm chí độ khó ưa còn cao hơn, Sát Sát ( không cần bàn về nhan sắc lẫn thực lực nữa).
