Yeah. I think the whole reason people like Yume Nikki so much is /because/ it's so bleak and weird. The game came out in 2004 and people are *still* wondering what the hell everything means, from the effects to the different places to the symbolism. The whole point of Yume Nikki is to make you leave with a feeling of "W-wait, what does it mean?" I feel giving it a definitive ending might ruin that fact a little.

This ver is more hopefull than the original and give that feeling that this is not the end of the story but only the begining of the next chapter.It give also the feeling that there's another part, something more happy.This remix is the opposite of the original ver who's just a loop with the same notes and give that feel of despair and sadness,but this one is more hopefull for the futur,like an alternate version of the game were Madotsuki doesn't commit sucide in the end,were she manage to escape from her illness.This is beautifull i really love this remix.

There IS a manga on it, you can just type "Yume Nikki manga" and then read the sample pages. There is dialogue in the manga but so far it's just Marodsuki talking to herself about how wired everything is.

This sounds like boss battle music for a gigantic god like being that has been able to manipulate your dreams the whole game and when you defeat it you can finally dream in peace again

To everyone who is wondering if Madotsuki is really dead, maybe, maybe not, that's your decision, but to lighten things up, the best theory so far that everyone agrees with is that the world she wakes up in is also a dream, a dream within a dream i guess you could say, so one day(probably after getting all the effects which symbolizes her emotions), Madotsuki decides to end her never ending nightmare. Also, if you look at the blood stain she leaves at the end of the game, it looks like a key...
Maybe all the game was a....dreaminception so she decide to wake up by jumping off the balcoon I do that when i want to get up of a dream..............i know im weird. (But it work!)
