    Thanks for sharing. May I ask one question please? After I did the backup as your way, The backup file is so smaller than the original database file. Is that fine? Waiting for your reply. Thank you.

    What happens if you make two backups of the same database file on the same day? Does MS Access save as backup feature overwrite the last backup made on the same day, or does it append a number after the date in the filename?

    Thanks richard. I simply copy my original file by appending backup date to file name.
