Realistically, critical strikes are not a high percentage of your total damage so no. It's only worth a slot if you aim to permastagger bosses and big monsters but chances are you're going to spam spells and/or AoW to achieve that so you might wanna boost those and your FP efficiency instead. Example: let's say you spam Flame of the Redmane from your Flame Art affinity Misericorde to stagger and crit consistently. You get way more damage out of the Fire Scorpion than the Assassin's Talisman.
@@NicoBlackXIV I’d say crimson dagger is outclassed but cerulean dagger is easily the best fp regen talisman in the game and I just personally like having a permanent option to get fp back without flasks. In higher level areas I can get fp back much much quicker than with the ancestor horn.
Every time I see a @Youwy video, I watch, I like. I would love to see more "fun builds" videos. Not necessarily overpowered, but just plain fun to play. Like "grave scythe + phantom slash", or a Thor build (destroying NG+ with Marika's hammer until you run into the late game where you're going to struggle big time). More faith+arcane builds for PVE. Maybe even a tier list of viewers submissions based on fun factor.
Don't underestimate the dragoncrest greatshield talisman. It raises physical damage negation by roughly 20%, which is a really big deal since most of the damage in the game is physical
It's only useful in the first couple NG cycles. At some point around the 3rd and 4th journey pretty much everything one shot you anyway so you don't even feel that 20%. It's a crutch talisman that becomes redundant by dodging.
It's very noticeable to me when I don't use it. I find I run out of stamina far more frequently and then realize I didn't have it equipped for whatever reason.
0:50 and 5:49 and 6:34 with regard to the amber+2, +5, and soreseal talismans, some talismans are best compared to how many levels of value they provide, since you can reshuffle stats based on what talismans you plan to use. * until your base vigor gets above base 55, the soreseals provide +20 levels, and less than -15 levels in vigor penalty, so they are stronger than the +5 stat talismans. * after that point, it's better to respec to a a +5 talisman and reshuffle your stats to be at least 47 base vigot. * by the time you have base 50 vigor, the amber talisman provides more than 5 levels in value, and thus outperforms the level talismans. if you were still using a soreseal with 60 base vigor, it would be providing you with basically +20 levels and -18 levels in vigor penalty, so only marginally better than not even using that talisman slot at all, so it gets really crap. 2:45 wtih regard to cerulian+2, it's only better than +5 levels at level 50 mind. so I'd call it D-tier. why do you want that much mind? your blue flask can't keep up with that, so it seems super situational and temporary that anyone would want this.

Absolutely feel you regarding shields. It feels like its a remnant of the old, slow and deliberate playstyle of dsS and ds1. But as miyazaki went full anime over time with the weapons, he didnt do enough to bring shields with them. There should have been some cool attack combos that worked in the shield, like the R1 and R2 would change the second you put on a shield. Also, imagine if we had cool AoWs like a tree sentinel shield smash that combo into a big weapon sweep or something. I tried to do a full guard counter build, but while actually guard countering is fun, most of the time youre just wasting time waiting for all the passive enemies to attack you. When you could just chop em down and get on with it. And then when I finally got to aggressive bosses, they would poise break me because the counter doesnt get hyper armor. Or the counter would go through but just hit air because the boss was long gone or out of reach. I ended up doing most of the run twohanding my trusted greatsword and then finally took shield of in order to wear sexier armor.
I'd argue that Shabriri's woe is an S tier item for pve. Why? If you are very good at dodging, a tank or a str build you can passively and actively remove aggro from allies and onto yourself allowing your team to get in lots of free and unhindered dps. (Caution that bad players will still get themselves destroyed if you need a breather) Even in solo play it excels for keeping the squishy summons alive like Latenna and a mimic will keep aggro from you + if you equip a Cursed-Blood Pot every time they are summoned they will use it for free and grant themselves a more aggressive AI which is extra beneficial if they copy a status or dps heavy build.

Blessed dew talisman is worth using until you go beyond, let's say, 30 vigor (994 HP). It's a useful item to restore HP without using a flask after you've been in a fight and can take a few minutes before going into combat again. At 994 HP, it will would take about 8 min 18 seconds to restore 994 HP. But more often than not, you're not going to need that much health after a fight. Let's say you're at half health (which would be 497HP at 30 vigor). To save your flasks for the next fight, equip the talisman and take the 4 mins and 9 secs it would take to fully restore your HP. Then replace the talisman with the one that more useful in combat for your build and continue on. Your health is back, and you didn't waste a flask to get it. IMO Blessed Dew is S tier from level 1-20, A tier from 21-25, B tier from 26-30, then not worth looking at again unless you start a brand new game.

For example, with Primal glintstone 15 health does not even make an impact at 60 heath. Also 12 memory slots is flact out amazing. Unless this video was focused more on pvp which i never play. Would make more sense if that was the case.
How do you put the red feather branch sword higher than the blue feather branch sword 😂 Red only gives you a 20% DMG increase blue gives you a 50% DMG negation. They should at least be in the same tier if not blue feather Branchsword should be higher.
Bc its too specific, you need to be in the range of 0~20% of health to activate the damage resistance and at that point you should be healing instead of waiting for getting hit. Spoiler alert: you will die anyways.
How dare you disrespect the prince of death's cyst. It's quite useful in Pve.
some mistakes.....but is what it is.....
Crimson Amber Medallion+2 vastly increase HP why is that not S Tier. Great jars Arsenal Vastly increase equip load that is S Tier. Erdtree is a jack of all trades and a master of none. And some how that is S Tier 😒
14:12 bro need to close that porn tab lol
Ritual Soul Talisman is S Tier your doing 10% more dmg at full health. Than he says Ritual Shield Talisman isn't good because if you get hit the buff is gone so why is Ritual Soul Talisman S Tier 😭🤣🤣
Flosk
Tf is going on in the background haha
U say this one and point... Like no one knows what your referring to
that's why they should not have removed the dislike count
I wish you’d had at least titled this video different. While I respect individual opinions, you really missed the point of a lot of these talismans.
#AxeTalismanSweep
Strongly disagree about the feather talisman. Regular rolling sucks.
First
didn’t even explain or name half of these
