I use a swivel, not the best way but works well for me. I keep my wire around a foot long. If you can find my tik tok I made a video last year showing exactly how I have it. Hope this helps!
How far you casting out ? I’m going there this week but the setup I have right now I can only get out about 50 yds but that’s with a half ounce spoon so may go heavier
