I was one of the viewers who reqd a video on moss propagations. Thanks for following up & through with this. This was very informative!! I have some cuttings that are not moving along in water, so I am going to try this moss scenario. Question? How much light will they need to be in? window light? grow light? Thanks again for your dedication to your viewers. We appreciate you!!
Aw you’re so welcome! If they’re covered I keep them in the brightest of light. Usually direct sunlight in the window sill (that’s how I grew the adansonii) or under a grow light for sure! I like to see the little dew drops on the Saran Wrap and it makes it so that I don’t have to water as much from all the humidity 🌱🫶🏽
Hiya April. I too have had trouble rooting Monstera Peru. Intake months to root for me and some comet but be patient. Once they start to take off then it roots quickly.
I’m still trying to figure out the M Peru as well, the prop I have is in water, been there for months, finally getting roots. See if I can put it in with my momma plant. Some just do better in water. Yes you reuse moss! If it’s full of algae or gnats you can boil it, otherwise I reuse it as is, maybe after a spray of hydrogen peroxide if I’m a lil concerned
Yeah the Peru is definitely my slowest growing plant lol but it’s so pretty I’ll never stop trying to propagate it 😂 I didn’t even think to use peroxide to clean the moss! Thank yooou 🥰🌱
I have my Verrucosum growing up a rope 1/2 size, I have hanging. I place some knots in the rope. No direct light or lamp light shining on it. Right now it’s pretty. But If I move it, it began to drop leaves. 🪴Happy Planting🌿

Monstera Peru. Intake months to root for me and some comet but be patient. Once they start to take off then it roots quickly.
I really hope so! It’s superrrr slow lol
April. Don’t throw out the ones that did not root. Put them in water, wait and see them grow.
lol too late 😆

That’s such a good idea! Gonna try that with my next verru 😊🌱
My favorite propagation:
The 🧀Swiss cheese plant (Monstera adansonii) 👍🏿
Mine too! 🙃🌱
Hey April - I’ll have to try moss to root my monstera peru as I have not been successful at all. I have seen people boil the moss in order to reuse ♻️
Yes let me know how it goes! And honestly I’d rather just get new moss hahah but that is interesting 💡🌱
💪😍🌱💚
Hi April. Let see what’s doing.
Yep fluval is not meant to be long term
I knew it!
Nice name! April
Thank you 🥰
