Yes I’ve eaten at 2 of those places . Tilapia n Tinz - love their Tilapia .. Ocean Basket - Love their fried fish and prawns especially the little side garlic sauce … eating on the terrace at night is very beautiful . . My go to places every time I’m in Ikeja .

Octopus is quite good, tastes like fish but a thicker texture.
Yeahhh. I had the platter with octopus when I went to Tilapia and tinz earlier in the year and it was great! Tasted like snail sort of. Had an amazing time there.

U didn't include Jevinik,they are topnotch for soups n native food,try them out

Hi Sisi. Please, I have an important question to ask. I am naturally not a fish person but my man also doesn't eat fish and is allergic to crayfish. How do I make local soups, rice without crayfish? Is there an alternative ingredient to substitute with crayfish?

It really depends on the quality: if the octopus is fresh it's nice, but when it's not so fresh any moore it's rubbery and is like tough chewing gum.
