my proudest Laser safety eqipment was a tuc bar infront of a cheap ass laser to make shure it would only scan on the cealing.
The “balcony” exception seems to run afoul of the 2.5m lateral distance requirement. Do you happen to know of any authoritative written sources confirming that it is actually okay? It would be super useful to keep a copy with my show safety paperwork.
I wish if KVANT Projector wasn't not expensive as it is... 🙏

Good one. What level of attenuation would be safe for scanning audience with a 2watts laser?
That is not a fixed percentage, this is based on the power of your laser, the beam divergence and the distance to the audience. The calculation can be viewed here : pangolin.com/blogs/education/audience-scanning-safety-2
For the laser that reflects on the mirror like a laser that directs on a mirror sphere in turn reflects uncontrollably, are there any rules that can be followed? Thank you very much.
Rules no. But if you don't trust the reflection, you could always choose to setup a Beam attenuation map (BAM) to lower the output in that area. Available in both QuickShow and BEYOND : wiki.pangolin.com/doku.php?id=quickshow:bam

my question is,how to determine where to put the scanners and how many you need
I mean if I have an open space and I need to map on a 60 M wall, how do I do all the calculations, how many scanner do I need, what is the distance between scanners and wall?

Yooo I thought I recognized the armory , fuck yeah dude . Just seen motionless in white in that building last weekend… but more relevant topic , what would happen if the power was dramatically cut from the laser ? I.e. someone trips over the main power cable and it unplugs
