- Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It's also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.
It looks like an attractive, pretty and touristic place, with beautiful natural scenery,

One of yours beautiful and peacful video 🙏🏻
Manali was my reason I went to India the first time. I lived in Manalsu Guest house. @17:28, behind the motorcycle to the left is a narrow walkway up on the hill, a steep path of stones and gravel. To the right you can see Moon Dance Café, where me who had been there for a few weeks and was the reason I went, took me for my first Manali Meal.
I will never forget it, so many memories from this road all the way day to the town center. I learned to motorcycles with manual gears on those roads. Manali is a second home to me, never felt the same feeling anywhere in the whole world. I need to go back. Was just about to when the Pandemic hit. Something felt off just as I was about to click pay, so I decided to wait. 2 days later the pandemic frenzy began.
I miss it so much, this video helps me go back there. Brings forth so many deep feelings, can't hold the tears back.
Cheers mate
Are you from israel girl?

@@pipipupu5104 That is interesting, I long for my next visit so I can see with it with a new perspective. I had no idea about this. Thank you for sharing this. Himachal is my other home on this earth. I have only visited Manali and Rishikesh so far, so I have many places to go. Himachal lives in my heart, Bless you my friend
I traveled there in 2010 it's so different now.
Love your vids!! At 00:12:20 there is a sign on the wall (right hand side on brick wall) for a restaurant named NIRVANA - I painted that :D I have more paintings around India and Nepal, maybe I can spot some more of my work in yours! Keep the Adventure going!!

I love your videos to no end. You always go the extra mile by taking us to places we either know or have never seen. You show us the people and the parts of a country and/or city that we never see, unless we go there ourselves. You show all of us real life, just like many of us actually live, not just the tourist districts and sights. Thank you so much for keeping it extremely real, interesting and both visually and mentally stimulating.
thank you Fredrick
Thank you, you take me to India where I could never be there in my life.
why not ?
Nunca digas de esta agua no bebere.
Wow! Big changes! I have go back to my beautiful place! Haven't seen 10 years!

Keezi, thank you so much :) Am from India and this so helpful even for me. Hope you get to travel lotz!
Very interesting walk. Thank you so much.
tnx
thanks a lot..it refreshed my good old memories of my trip to manali...
Thijs
nice thnx voor het commentaar
Welcome back
GRACIAS Buenísimo🙋💐🙋!!!!
Fascinated by the cows. Wish you had kept up with them. Wanted to know where they were going.
I could feel the danger walking that narrow road with the gully below.
Love your videos
Thank you Kees. Manali is my hometown. Haven't been there for about 5 years now.
+Dorjee Tsering i liked it ;-)
No trace of 1970's.Reminiscence of my childhood journey with parents. We stayed at Hotel Beas. We travelled with Kundu Sp.
@@YogiWalks what is the song in 39 minutes?
I enjoy your videos. Feel I am there ! It would very interesting to know a few facts about the place, like the population. It is different from what I imagined. More established.
I love your video specially Manali ones just one thing if your passing by hotel in any country please show the glimpse of it , bcoz if someone wants to go for vacation they can choose the hotel like for eg in manali Beas river is flowing and they r so many hotels so, one can choose hotel near beas river .
Thanks Monica😊✨✨🧚♀️
What amazes me is that of the many people you meet, hardly anyone greets you and you do not greet anyone either. It's almost like you're invisible. We also walked around Manali a lot in the 90s, but most people everywhere gave us friendly greetings. Why is it different today?
It was not, I was avoiding eyecontact so no greetings.
FELICIDADES interesante video gracias por Compartir

Superb...
Wow! Great video. Can you please make one of my home town Udaipur, of Jaisalmer and Jaipur?
i am not really in that neighborhood right now
Great work! I get tired of easily with professionals' works these days.Highly intrusive commentary runs ; loud opinions; and cookie-cutter narratives, distract my attention very easily. Most presenters make themselves unnecessarily visible at the expense of the subject at hand.
I am watching this on my 40" tv but I can imagine how it would look like on a larger screen. Bless you and keep on doing the great job that u do.
Nice videos. Beautiful Manali tks for beautiful videos.
Thank you very much friend. It is a very good video. I wish to walk some day those lands too.
Thanks Kees . Great work again.
Kathmandu ? Manila ? Take care.

Thank you so much for this video, this video has been added to my treadmill watch list. I have dreams like this...thanks again. (Though in my dreams I walk a bit faster.)
road is small ,but they driving fast.
Very good video
What roofs and walls we the people have stacked in which to dwell out our short span of space time.
how do you make your videos so smooth??. usually in walking videos you can see shaking and movement but yours are very smooth
Millimeters from stepping in the sewer. Having said that....I enjoy this.
This area little clean
amazing places
This part of India looks beautiful, pity about the state of the roads/footpaths & buildings in places.
With due respect, these videos are 6year old. A lot has changed in India since then. We would love to welcome you. ! ☺️☺️
You're breathing hard there Keezi. And after all that walking you do too. Must be that thin mountain air. ????

Much cleaner than the big cities.
ottimo video, però in certi punti, incroci o luoghi panoramici e/o di interesse architettonico e storico potresti girare la videocamera a destra e/o sinistra per mostrare l'ambiente intorno grazie
Another great video showing the culture. Thank's
It looks pretty nice, where they didn't allow cars to come through!

How much does it cost to rent a small apartment in Manali? The reason I ask is my social security check is only $900.00 a month here in the USA.
3000 rs =50 $$ or if you want any delux room then 10,000-12,000=200$
Thank you! I'll be there in about two years.
+kshitiz sinha he is lying it's. not cost too much ... I have a home in manali
