@griffin20051 1996 was the year the classic formation of Sepultura broke up. Their pick was about 1991, at this time they were top 3 thrash metal band in the world.
you probably dont care but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost the password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.
I'm Brazilian. Sepultura brought "groovy" combined to "heavy" in metal genre. This song shows it more to highlight the mix of Portuguese religious culture and art, mixed with African culture, music and dance brought by African slaves and Native Brazilian culture that formed the Brazilian culture. Sepultura is one of the pioneers of Metal in Brazil and 1st Brazilian Metal band to be a success abroad. The Cavalera brothers who created the band had a big fight and now the vocalist is an American, Derrick.
They were a huge influence in korn and other new metal bands like slipknot. There's a dope documentary about the influence of Sepultura in music all over the world. Its on netflix.
@@Matin3z_ The documentary is called "Sepultura Endurance", there you can see people like, Corey Taylor, Rob Zombie, Lars Ulrich, Phil Ancelmo, talking about how big sepultura was, and it was REALLY HUGE. They were like the new metallica, even other bands went to the concerts and festivals to see them.
you mentioned that it reminded you of pantera, in this concert you can see phil ancelmo on a green shirt, watching the whole concert >>>ruclips.net/video/urHgGWoG7cg/видео.html
Amazing reaction! Please check out their newer songs : Isolation, Guardians of Earth, Agony Of Defeat, The Pentagram, Phantom Self, Iceberg Dances, Resistant Parasites, Sworn Oath, The Vatican, Trauma of War.
I know this video is old but what a lot of people are overlooking is that Ross Robinson produced this album and that he also produced Korns and many other numetal bands in the mid 90s. Max is a lover of music and throughout his discography you can hear the influences of other genres
What happened to the rest of the song? Missed the best part, don't think it was even a single edit, anyway great band and an awesome song, check out the album definitely harder than pantera 🤘🤘.
Uhhh, have you heard Far Beyond Driven.. Sepultura is great in their own right, without a doubt. Andreas and Max don’t hold a candle to Dimebag, though!
Hey listen Angra, is other brazilian band, founding in 90s, the sound is very diferent comparing to Sepultura, sounds more like "power metal" genre ...or something like this ...
Please do not think sepultura are like korn....this was just a new idea for them....not their usual style....nothing wrong with korn....just a complete different style
Its so disrespectful to mention korn while sepultura plays. Thats a fuckin gemm of trash/death. They are fuckin masters. And Roots is not even their prime
Korn? Sepultura was already huge when Korn were kids playing in garages.
Korn dudes were just espermatozoides in their dads sacs when sepultura already was big in metal scene.
@GG alien thank you! 😂🤦♂️

They were a huge influence in korn and other new metal bands like slipknot. There's a dope documentary about the influence of Sepultura in music all over the world. Its on netflix.
Oh that's dope. We might have to look into that. Do you happen to know the name of it?

Roots Bloody Roots was recorded in Minas Gerais and Bahia in 1996/1997.
React to their older album Beneath the Remains. INNER SELF is the song
Dahora!!
You should react to their thrash phase, try Refuse/Resist :)
A gata também manda muito bem... 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Brazil! 🇧🇷👊🤘
Roots bloody roots
Metal at its finest....still better than today's...in my opinion...
I know this video is old but what a lot of people are overlooking is that Ross Robinson produced this album and that he also produced Korns and many other numetal bands in the mid 90s. Max is a lover of music and throughout his discography you can hear the influences of other genres

Você é bão demais...... 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Technical difficulties at the end haha. We only lost like 15 seconds or so.
Uhhh, have you heard Far Beyond Driven.. Sepultura is great in their own right, without a doubt. Andreas and Max don’t hold a candle to Dimebag, though!

All their shit jams great band
Sepultura é foda♥💢
This is when they shifted to more of a Groove Metal band.
Check out, Sepultura - Mask (feat. Devin Townsend - Live Quarantine Version)
The best part was the final part
Korn? WOuld NOt exist without Sepultura. Korn plays this song sometimes, btw.
This album inspiered bands like korn an a lot more 🤟🤟
If there is Korn, system of a down and others bullshits it is due to Sepultura.
Sorry lady, but you look like your dancing to Britney
Korn is Sepultura wannabe😅😅
Another band from Brazil: Angra. Music: Nova Era.
R.I.P. André Matos.
Hey listen Angra, is other brazilian band, founding in 90s, the sound is very diferent comparing to Sepultura, sounds more like "power metal" genre ...or something like this ...

U should react to their old song. They were thrash metal band. Korn not even close...
correction...korn is not a thrash metal band...its different..
Missed the best part! LOL
And they missing the best part🤣
Yeah, Korn doesn’t deserve to tune Sepultura’s guitars. Check out Inner Self from the album Beneath the Remains
não ouviram até o final !!!!!
" heavy, metal "
React to Sepultura- Dead embryonic cells
Please do not think sepultura are like korn....this was just a new idea for them....not their usual style....nothing wrong with korn....just a complete different style
