I'm from Brazil and I can say that it's very satisfying to see people from other countries impressed with the band. Sepultura is a band better known outside Brazil than inside. Keep up that fun way of reacting
omg Sepultura. When i first saw them live they were opener for slayer. No one knew how far they will come. Just a few years later they have been the main act at Dynamo Open air in the Netherlands
5:30 “TEACHING MY SON, TO BELIEVE IN BATMAN!!” Can’t believe I haven’t seen this reaction before. I love you guys. Love the content. Keep doing your thing guys. Stay classy!
@@jorozco13yearsago40, eh, even then, the stuff on Chaos AD, Arise, and Roots isn't terribly difficult. I could play all of the Sepultura songs I wanted with a year or so of seriously playing guitar.
This whole album still gets me amped up. If you want me to break some shit, knock down a wall or someone needs an ass kicking play refuse/resist and it's done.
I remember my utter disappointment when Chaos AD was released back in 1993.. This was the first song I heard from the album, and I remember thinking.. Surely this can't be the same band that recorded "Beneath The Remains" and "Arise" it's like they completely disregarded their Thrash metal sound with this album.. But now at 45 years old I can actually appreciate this album a lot more.
I like the album, but it marks the beginning of the end for old Sepultura. "Roots" was the worst one. With Derrik they arose! "Against" and "Nation" are better than "Chaos A.D.", but nothing comes closer to "Arise".
I bought this album on cassette when I was in 6th grade from a music store and the person behind the counter asked me if I was sure I wanted it lol! Chaos ad is one of my favorite albums 30 years later
The song has aged very well. At the time all of us who had been Sepultura fans going back pretty deeply were a bit taken back by how much the bandi had slowed down on this album but the brilliant grooves and the emphasis on the percussion elements interacting with the guitars was pretty hard to resist or refuse. They would take this to an even further extreme on the next record 'Roots." Anyway as usual your reactions are always so energetic and feel as though they come from this wonderful place of honest discovery. I absolutely love that you guys have never fronted like you are long-term metal fans, you've always been straight up about how all this stuff is very new to you. I think it's going to be very interesting to hear what your newer material it's going to sound like with all of this diverse music that you've been exposed to now. Keep up the great work you guys are awesome. M.
Resist/Resfuse from 1993/1994 Sepultura gains notarity from specialized critics in Germany, USA, England, Europe and Brazil. becoming the biggest Heavy Metal Band.
Max listening to a lot of Fudge Tunnel was the best thing that ever happened. Damn, this album, what an intense crushing behemoth it was, and remains to this day. I couldn't get on with Sepultura after Max left. It just didn't quite gell for me. Still in my top five of favourite Metal Bands. Thanks for doing so much of their earlier catalogue lately, some of the finest music ever written. 🤘🤘
I am curious when you venture down the rabbit hole with lead singer Max Cavalera. With his other bands Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy and Nailbomb. I can't wait to see your reactions to them.
The song & video is all about d endless, sense less century old war between muslims & christians in Israel. Until today. & their video was shot in Isreal. When METAL was still political & intelligent. Not just all noise & heavily-distorted guitar unlike today. \m/
Sepultura in Donington 1994 !!!! Amazing !!!
La mejor banda brasileña, saludos desde Bolivia.
Tatuado en mi brazo llevo el logo de Sepultura, lo más grande de Brasil, saludos desde Argentina 🤘🤘💖💖

Speachless...
Is their reaction.
The drum beats are so different but they're strong and heavy and the lyrics are so true.
The tribal drums always a distinctive sound in Sepultura.
Música de primeira!!! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
One of my favourite Sepultura song even Gojira does cover this song for them live performance
There is a excellent video where guys freaks out when Territory starts i love it 🤘
Dead Embryonic Cells is a great track from them

Oh ya. Off the Arise album.
Indeed......to think that they already predicted the future in the lyrics......they're Prophets lml
Arise 🚨
Their arise record is pure thrash excellence
This song made me a metal fan back in the 90's when i first saw it on tv here in Sweden.
Igor's beats are what I like most about Sepultura.
Nice reaction guys! More Sepultura stuff are always welcome. Congrats from Brazil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🤟🤟🤟
I listened so much to Sepultura in my youth👊👊 and still does
The Cavalera Brothers. Max on vocals and guitar, and Igor on drums
omg Sepultura. When i first saw them live they were opener for slayer. No one knew how far they will come. Just a few years later they have been the main act at Dynamo Open air in the Netherlands
Slayer never toured with Sepultura before Max left, only after.
Essa é clássica do sepultara

Damn! keep going with Sepultura reacts. Cheers from Brasil. Love you!
I have so much nostalgia for this song. My first garage band played a lot of Sepultura because it was heavy, intense, and easy to play
Unless you're playing Andrea's parts

That drum paterne in the start, to get that Hihat in the drum beat, not what I consider Easy😂
Wow i guess you are a mainstream band now
@@claudioferraro1652, weird thing to get butthurt over. "OMG he finds covering a handful of songs from the 90s easy, CLAUDIO MAAAAAAAAD!"
Both Pantera and Sepultura still the heviest bands in history period
Sepultura é foda 🤘🏻🤘🏻🇧🇷🇧🇷
Max is a BEAST
After so many years, i'm still getting goose bumps. Was für ein banger!!
Refuse/Resist from the same album. Beast of a track.
Sepultura The hunt is a good 1
Basically this is a cover of song by New Model Army, who are always worth a listen
My ringtone is the first 30 seconds of this song.
Chaos AD still one of my favourite albums of all time.
Fucking love Sepultura!
Wow great choice from Sepultura 😍👍
This whole album still gets me amped up. If you want me to break some shit, knock down a wall or someone needs an ass kicking play refuse/resist and it's done.
Refuse resist for the great reset
You should interview Max Cavalera someday.
You guys need to react to their cover of the Motörhead’s Orgasmatron live in Donington 1994 -- INSANE 🤘🤘

Funny, I don't remember feeling that way back in '93, but I think you're right. Now? This is my favorite CD in their entire discography!
This is how i discovered Sepultura & then went back to their older stuff.loved it all. Been one of my favorites all life

That's exactly how I felt with "Roots"... **sigh** but yeah, definitely Beneath the Remains & Arise are THE Sepultura albums. 🤘🤘

I was in a band that covered this song years ago until we lost our drummer. I always thought this song would be a good Conan the barbarian theme song
Give this girl a trophy!! A I’m fucking awesome trophy 🔥
Sepultura. Portuguese for gravestone.

Esse é o VERDADEIRO SEPULTURA DO BRASIL PORRA !!!
That intro is legendary , every latin drummer should learn that intro!
