Honestly, when I first got the keyboard, I was absolutely astonished at how high quality the board felt. I paired the keyboard with Akko V3 Cream Blues, and the sound profile was even more mind-blowing. For the price you pay, around $70, you feel like you are getting something worth $200. Obviously, its not going to feel as premium as some of the more expensive boards, but this thing feels more premium than any other keyboard I have touched in this price range. If anyone is in the fence about getting it or not, get it. You will not have any regrets.

G'Day Kyle! always exciting to see a fellow Aussie too 😄🤙 I really put in effort to give you a great video so appreciate the compliment on quality. Checkout my latest desk build to see where this keyboard is going to be living.
Thank you :) I Appreciate you letting me know. Whenever I watch a keyboard review I usually wonder about the software and certain features, so good to know you found them useful in my video.
How aren't you getting more attention. Your channel is amazing I have watched your 2 latest videos and before I looked at the sub count I thought you had at least 200k. Amazing to see and be at the rise of something amazing keep it up. Don't let the late long hours of editing stop you from what you've passionate about. Amazing truly mesmorising. ❤❤❤
Wow really appreciate the support ❤️ I've recently gone full time for my RUclips content so I'm hoping that having the ability to upload more frequently and complete some larger unique projects will help grow the channel. Either way, I'm really excited to share what I'm working on this week, been a few months in the making 🔥
The production quality is top notch! Can’t wait for this channel to pop off :) If you’re ever inclined, another pretty popular budget build keyboard going around is the GMK67. I’d love to see a video from you on that!
This was a pretty competent video for someone new to keyboarding! The main thing you got wrong was the pricing of things and really how to configure a board for sound/feel. The Hi75 is amazing value at 60-75 barebones, one of the best sounding budget boards to ever exist, but the switches and caps are very low end and insanely overpriced. The XDA cap profile is amazing for the fact that it's easy to dyesub and you can move novelties to any position on the board (all being the same height, leading to there being TONS of colorways), but are absolutely horrid to actually type and game on, among the worst available... That set you got should be about 9-15 bucks max, and the stem warping issue you had actually isn't even expected at that price, there are tons of totally fine cap sets in that price range. You can get incredible sets like Akko MDA white/building/cream for 30-40, Ghost Judges for 25-44, Ai Fei ABS for 9-20 single sets or 25-35 for huge double color sets, and more... The Outemu Panda price shown is insane as well... that's very high-end switch pricing for extreme budget switches... A 90 pack should go for less than 16 bucks, not 54, and outemu make better switches like the Jade Pinks (normal linear but uniquely quiet) and Jade Yellows (silent tactile) and Milk Tea (super deep brown-like tactile) for the same price. Outemu are also the manufacturer of Gazzew switches and now Akko's Pro lineup. But there are a wealth of very nice pre-lubed switches in 90-110 packs for 20-35 bucks. Akko, MMD, Gat SIlvers, Wuque Studios, Leobog, Kailh Box White/Jade, etc. There's a very quick and easy mod you can to to stabilizers to make them 100% tick and rattle free, genuinely like magic and way easier than the old Holee Mod. It's called the "Plumbers Tape Wrap Mod" with a simple dip in dielectric grease after (though you can use krytox if you have it, but it's a bit wasteful on budget stabilizers). Stabilizer rattle and tick alone genuinely gatekeep a board from sounding premium while no matter what board/switches/caps/etc, but it's such a cheap and easy fix, you don't need high end replacement stabilizers at all anymore, though TPU doubleshot ones (that use the same principle as the PTFE tape wrap) do exist now and can save the effort, just at a vastly higher cost vs 5 cents of plumbers tape. If you want I can recommend some different cap and switch sets to try, and some guidance on potential mods, if you want to do an update video to show how huge of an upgrade the right ones can be, even to an amazing stock board like the Hi75.
Yo appreciate the super detailed help! This was my second keyboard build so my research and exposure has only gotten me so far for now and this extra information that directly relevant to the build is really helpful! I think with the keycaps the warp may be because of that uniform shape, where they've been dyed in different physical orientations after leaving the mold. Prices were from the retailer that sent the products. I'd love some likes or recommendations on where to find the best deals on parts for Future builds though. I'll look into that plumbers tape wrap mod and stabilisers. I'm yet to start exploring stabiliser mods. So yeah if you've got some recommendations on gold value parts and cheap place's to buy from I'm all for it. I was always worried about getting into custom keyboards because of the price but it seems there are some great value buys out there if you know what to look for!
Hey! After reading your comment I can't help but ask what your preferred switches are for the Hi75, It would also help if you include a thocky switch as that is the sound profile I am trying to achieve. TY
What polling rate are you getting? I'm only getting 500Hz when testing it with Keyboard Inspector 0.4.0. I'm on firmware V4.0.0-I don't even know if that's the latest version, but it's what I got when I updated the software. I've heard that when people update their firmware on this board, the polling rate doesn't reach the claimed 1000Hz.
Hi. Great Video but 1 thing to take note is that this board is casted aluminium and not CNC aluminium. They do have seperate knob on their shop on taobao.
Amazing video editing, probably the best I've seen from the keyboard ytbers so far. Very informative, Satisfying, straightforward and a bit of a cinematography there all in one love it!!!
After every shutdown keyboard goes to the default RGB and key bindings. My RGB setup and macros got reset then I have to open the software and apply them again. They stay save in the software only. Is there any way to preserve RGB and macros even after shutdown in the keyboard?
Weird mine doesn't to that, my RGB has held and I use my custom print screen keybind every day without opening the software. Do you have a firmware update available in the software?
Looking at buying this. I have a Skyloon G75 and I love it but I need a board for work and can't go back from aluminium. Just want to say a massive thanks for being one of the few Australian youtubers who actually posts Australian prices.
haha, man, I was also freaked out when my Windows button was blocked. I was thinking about returning it or something. But then the problem was solved thanks to the kind people on RUclips. Great videography and editing. Thanks for the review.
Oh it's such an annoying flaw about this keyboard! The software doesn't have any driver updates so no, I haven't figured out a way to customise them. :(

that 3 light indicators on the right side always bother the aesthetic tf out of me, it's like a memento of the old cheap plastic keyboard, so it's a deal breaker for me, might go sugar65 or m1w.
Oh man it really does when I looked at it from an aesthetic point too, they even included this ugly metal sticker with legends to draw more attention to it 😂 But, I do have to say, from daily use I don't notice it at all. Interesting you mention the M1W, I actually have one on the way right now for review. But that video will be at least 3 weeks away once it arrives in the studio.
