It is such a blessing to see young people living their lives out in the Bosom of the Father! To not have to carry the unnecessary baggage into your marriage will save a lot of room in your heart that is meant for The Father!!!! It will only be a blessing for you guys! Also, what are your jobs in the Coast Guard going to be?

Congrats on everything Erin. I did 2 ships in Portsmouth. The Igham in 1980. She’s a museum in Key West. Maybe you saw her when you were there and I plank owned the Legare in ‘89. Wishing you the best!

    Wonderful & Epic too!
I watched one of your videos where you gave a tour of a 87’ patrol boat and subscribed. Then I watched this video and know why I subscribed. Your Christianity shows in your countenance. I love to witness God’s glory in his children!

Y'all got engaged on my birthday. That is a great birthday gift to get I must say. A military marriage can take some work, particularly if you two get stationed in separate bases, but I am sure you two can work it out. I feel a lot safer knowing people like you two are out there keeping an eye out for us.

Absolutely loved this video update! Thanks for sharing Erin! I love how you two are praying and trusting in God’s plan for your lives! So many people live for themselves and forget to “check in” with their creator for guidance.

Congratulations on your Marriage with Nolan.. Awesome to read/watch about it, & thanks for again sharing some snippets of you life in this medium. Growing up a Navy Dept kid, I understand the pressure of the absenceness you will learn to adjust to. Just keep your reliance in our Lord, he'll provide you with the blessings you will need. It takes some practice to learn about the time in your life with /without Nolan, and it works on him as well. God bless you both, may he keep the Angels around you both in his love and protection. Stay safe .

I just got back from D17 (underway on a WMSL) to find this. Very happy that you’re doing well. It was obviously a crazy year. Being that you both got afloat billets it’ll be challenging to start a joined life, but the best thing is that it’ll give you a chance to miss each other and to learn, gradually. You’ll have more options later in your careers.
Glad that you were both able to get your initial quals in. Can’t wait to hear your impressions of being a JO, your new crew, and the “real” Coast Guard. Would like to learn what your quals are and what you want to do next!

GOD BLESS YOU MA’AM!! Thank you for inspiring me to trust in God’s plan. I am a pessimist when it comes to “good things”. I’m applying to the Academy for the class of 2027, but I am so scared that I won’t get in. Thank you for pushing your viewers to Trust in God’s Plan. 😁

Congratulations to you and Nolan on your marriage as well as your graduation and first assignments. Does Nolan have a channel, and if possible would be interesting to see hear about both your assignments, like are you on the bridge or engineering or maybe going to aviation…I’m not quite sure what other assignments coast guard officers can have, maybe ship tours too

    Greetings,
I’m really happy to hear how things have worked out for you, having watched some of your videos it’s good to see that you’re enjoying life and your decision to serve as a Coast Guard Officer,
I can easily relate to the constant changes and challenges to having a routine in your life having served myself in the Military for 12 years, and bouncing all over the World for various deployments.
And while I never got married myself,
I have no regrets about the career and life decisions I made, because right now I have a good job,
In the Risk management career field and I’m very much involved with carrying for Rescue and Community Cats, something that I never even thought about while serving in the Military, But after my last overseas deployment I came home wanting to help save lives,
And God with his unique sense of humor led me to caring for Community/feral cats and soon adopting cats that had issues with them that made them hard to adopt out, or high risk for death at a shelter.
So I’m very happy to see where God has led you and Nolan in this adventure of life,
And I send thoughts, Prayers, and Wishes of Peace, Love, and Happiness to you both as you journey down this road of life,
    Take Care and God Bless.

    Some coast guard 💂‍♀️ questions:
How often is a coast guard ship 🛳️ out to sea?
Can sailors use their mobile phone when underway?
How does the military accommodate pregnancy these days? Can a woman start a family and be career military?

Erin you look GREAT! Glad things are going well for you and Nolan. First Tours on ship can be so incredibly rewarding and at the same time very challenging. Of course, your dual sea tours add to the challenges you will both face. Christ will guide you both through it all. I am confident you will be a terrific Officer. You are talented, organized and driven and very impressive! I remain available should you ever want some advice from a retired Officer who lived the life you are...but without the challenge of my spouse being on another ship. Feel free to message me in IG.
