Congratulations to you both. A wise decision to live the pregnancy, instead of sharing. As a new mum to be, you have enough other things to be concerned with. Once you and the child are healthy, that is the priority.

This made me so blessed tonight Erin!!! So happy for you and your family, and I know God will do wonderful things with all your endeavors. Your videos inspired me to heavily look into the Coast Guard in my early high school. I was totally going to go to the Coast Gurad Academy and move to the gulf coast where my warm weather parents would have the best time visiting. However, your videos eventually helped me realize that I did not want to be an officer. After some more research, I discovered that I actually do not feel called to the Coast Guard at all. I couldn't figure out how to keep dancing and be in the coast guard. Tomorrow, I actually have my first audition for a professional Christian Dance Company, and I am so blessed that your videos gave me a Coast Guard season but ultimately showed me that that's not where I'm supposed to be. The armed forces and the men and women who are called to do that will always hold a place in my heart for many reasons, and I hope to be involved with veterans' programs in my dance career one day. But I feel so blessed to look back and know I made the right decisions. I've loved seeing your faith journey as well as your Coast Guard journey, and I will definitely be hanging around listening to the podcasts and waiting for the next videos. Thank you for sharing. It impacted my life more than I know how to say. You are an amazing example of a strong God fearing women.

And let me add one more thing regarding the Coast guard God rest my mother and father they're in heaven now but they used to have a little dinky and we were from South Jersey and we always did real good fishing over by the United States Coast guard base in Cape May county it was always a good day just to see the Coast guard and the ships they have made you proud to be an American that made you feel safe knowing that you had people with such knowledge and capabilities watching your waterways and enforcing the law and keeping people safe they are the best of what they do and again was always a thrill to see the men and women who do a great job God bless you all.

One thing I noticed you definitely deserve to have a better sleeping quarters I know it's tight and he's working shifts but I wish our government would make your sleeping quarters a bit more cozy and comfortable for the best in the world you all deserve that again words can never describe the gratitude respect and love I have for our United States Coast guard they're not only badass and cool they they are top-notch individuals who know the ocean and it's dangerous as well if not better than the US Navy they are definitely in the class of their own❤ I love and respect is coming out of South Jersey stay well and peace be with you all

Just want to give a quick shout out sending love and respect to the great men and women of the United States Coast guard you are the best in the world I know this first hand from an incident that I had and use had my back so to speak and make sure I was safe I will never forget that incident unfortunately I learned a big lesson actually a couple wasn't close to death but things could have went real bad People may calls when we weren't back on time and I'll never forget pond pond My boat was named cronies running out of North Wildwood again The proof is in the pudding and our United States Coast guard is the best in the world May all great blessings come to all of you stay safe stay well and words can never say Thank you enough for the job you do the best in the world is the bottom line❤❤❤

Great video! I served a year on an 82’ WPB from 87-88. Great multi-mission platform, but a horrible ride 🤢 I know much of what you filmed was done at the dock, and things can get a little lax, but it looks like rules about avoiding gear adrift aren’t what they used to be. I noticed things like clothing, shampoo bottles, etc., not secured. Has that changed in these newer cutters? Just curious.

I loved your words of encouragement at the end. Going to the Academy wasn't in my plans, but I did want to enlist and spend some time in the Guard after High School. My teenage spare time was spent swimming, running, learning to shoot an air pistol and then a 9mm (this was the mid-80s), joining Civil Air Patrol and learning how to spot from planes, radio operations, etc. Unfortunately, right before my 18th Birthday I injured my back, but at the community college I ended up going to I met a former IRS Special Agent who got me interested in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection. That wouldn't have happened if I enlisted into the Coast Guard after High School.

I serve 27 years in the Coast Guard exhilarate in the first district northern region I was stationed at a porn Allerton Coast Guard station and Hall Massachusetts I enjoyed every bit of it unfortunately the skipper I was crying for for 27 years passed away and then I lost my mother not long after that I have now since retired from the Coast Guard exhilarate appoint Allerton Coast Guard station and Hall very well done very well explained Super Paradis have a safe trip.😮

Many Decades ago I served aboard the now long gone USCGC Point Hannon in Jonesport Maine. I wanted to say thank you for posting a tour showing how much things have changed with the new 87s. Berthing alone is an amazing improvement as there were six of us in the foward berthing. I however would have missed not having a wheel at the helm as it was great to have something to hold onto when being tossed around in hvy seas. I do love how the RHIB is launched and retrieved, over how we use to launch over the starbord side. Oh I did want to ask if the 87s still have anti gravity racks. Lol

I really want one for my Sea Scout ship.

Thank you for the tour Erin. One of these cutters USCG Cutter Adelie in the San Juan’s saved my partner and I after the sailboat we were crewing on became disabled in heavy weather during a November Gale. I’ll never forget the Adelie and her crew. I am ships crew in the Canadian Coast guard working towards becoming a lifeboat OIC and look forward to the day when I get to return the favour for another mariner in need.
