Thought that was my brothers old cb400 four when i seen the bent right indicator stalk but noticed dent not there on right side of tank. wonder if the old girl is still about???? OKD 630S. brilliant work by the way, all your own work makes it so much more satisfying too.

Amazing work!! Could you please tell me which methods and materials did you use to remove the rust from the various parts? I'm in the process of restoring my CB400SF and removing rust is a real challenge... Any help will be appreciated!
I used electrolysis on mine, got some pretty good results and it required significantly less elbow grease. Look up electrolysis on RUclips, its very simple and effective for removing rust
I'll be the skeptic here. I'd prefer to buy a new 636 and then make sure it is kept in showroom condition for 40 years after some creative alterations.

My CB350F was in similar if not worse condition, but I got it super cheap with a bunch of extra parts. I am almost finished
My own F2 is also a bike I rescued, but I haven't got a patch on this!
