Pat is so versatile. He can play any instrument he feels like playing.
Agreed, but he’s playing a bangitar in this clip. Structurally like a banjo but with six strings and played identically to a guitar.
"What you once were isn't what you wanna be anymore..."
the BEST Live Band today!! the best!!
Wilco + KEXP =
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! Thanks, KEXP
As a former heroin addict, this song gives me chills .. ❤️❤️❤️❤️.... Recovery is possible
Perfection!
I miss her
I miss jay bennett.
The 9 people who disliked this have no soul...
Or taste!
The ashtray says you were up all night
When you went to bed with your darkest mind
Your pillow wept and covered your eyes
And you finally slept while the sun caught fire
You've changed
We fell in love in the key of C
We walked along down by the sea
You followed me down the neck to D
And we fell again into the sea
You've changed
Oh, you've changed
Maybe all I need is a shot in the arm
Maybe all I need is a shot in the arm
Maybe all I need is a shot in the arm
Maybe all I need is a shot in the arm
Maybe all I need is a shot in the arm
Maybe all I need is a shot in the arm
Maybe all I need is a shot in the arm
Something in my veins, bloodier than blood
Something in my veins, bloodier than blood
Something in my veins, bloodier than blood
Something in my veins, bloodier than blood
The ashtray says you were up all night
When you went to bed with your darkest mind
Now you've changed
Oh, you've changed
What you once were isn't what you want to be anymore
What you once were isn't what you want to be anymore
What you once were isn't what you want to be anymore
What you once were isn't what you want to be anymore
Isn't it past your bedtime?
Excellent.
cool version
RIP Kurt, Layne…
You changed.
Is he playing that lap steel with a spring??
Not a lap steel, but a resonator guitar (commonly known as a Dobro, but that's brand name, like Kleenex) and yes, he is indeed playing it with a spring. Nels is a guitar genius that makes sounds like no other player.
Yet next to no one could actually name one of his tunes or hum one of his songs.
sing me some Impossible Germany
@@alexv3266 There are some nice little melodic hooks on his album "Coward", but yeah, in general his stuff is pretty hard to get into. His work with Wilco has been excellent though.
Is the crowd supposed to be mute?
It was an intimate setting. No PA, no amps. All the mics are just for recording.
The only shot in the arm NOT brought to you Pfizer. Wilco rocks.
🥴
This song is about the vaccine.
it’d be a “clot in the heart” instead of shot in arm then
