41 here been on TRT for just under a year taking 160mg a week divided into 2 doses a week mon 80mg thurs 80mg 175 lbs. energy and libido like a 25 year old. 💪👍
2m. Exactly me. Thankyou sir. Did my head in how people looked at me and thought YOUR FINE LOOK AT YOU. You have no idea how I feel inside. Living in the uk 38 3 full spectrum blood tests done. About to start my trt journey in the next week or so.
I tried an Endo. Had to question his degree. I was at 246 ng/dl and said I was within range. Found a younger urologist with good training that understood. Put me on 200MG a week. 100 twice a week. Feeling great!
55 and Been on TRT now for 3 yrs at 200mg weekly, Mon and Thursday split. My hematocrit was 36.7 now after testosterone 42.5 improvements in my entire blood except for cholesterol which went from 122 now at 146. Blood pressure did go up from 103/66 to now 108/71 and as high as 112/77
I’m 53, trt at 186 I just started 2.5 months ago from endocrinologist and started me at 100mg every 2 weeks and not feeling the best, i’m seriously considering going to a clinic but my insurance covers trt through my doctor, getting my labs in 2 weeks hopefully he’ll modify my dose, frustrating
Yes! There these doctors go again! They just can't get it together and stop going old school! That is absolutely a terrible way to go and wrong on so many levels! They need to start you at 100 split, like Mon and Thursday every week! Then after awhile increase your dose to where you feel good at ! Not what they want you at! I went through the same BS you are dealing with and had to go to a different urologist. Just my opinion, they should at least start you off at 120 mg weekly and test you from there. I felt terrible at 100mg weekly not bad at 150 weekly and felt incredible at 200mg weekly. My testosterone at 100mg weekly was only at 368! I was 53 when I started. Finally at 200 my testosterone is around 820 and it's a difference from night and day!
Love to see Balance My Hormones get a review paper made and get Dr Trivison, Bhasin, Morgentaler, all on a paper and right some wrongs. Until this is done and new standards are made nothing is going to change. Dr Travision already told me his paper and range is wrong so this needs to get fixed...
Thank you to all the doctors and bros. The entire panel was great! Anyway, the biggest myth I've discovered is going by the range (believing it as absolutely accurate) to decide when treatment should be given. For example, I began showing prominent symptoms at 425 ng/dl, but according to the medical charts I was in the "normal" range. I felt like the walking dead, yet doctors kept telling me I was normal. That normal range is utter nonsense. As a related fact, I remember growing up and looking at those height/weight charts and never fitting in anywhere. As someone 6'4 who worked out, for years I was considered overweight according to the chart. Later in life, they revised the range and make it specific to body type of small, medium, large, frame which brought me closer. Then subsequent added athletic type which got just about right. That time frame was about 30 years beginning from when I was a teenager. @1:48 Yes, you do cry. I'd wake up at 3:00 AM and cry for 15 minutes for no reason then fall back asleep. It was a terrifying experience when your emotions turn on and off like that.
The BP meds will control your BP. TRT normally will not cause it to elevate. I’m many cases low testosterone may be linked to high BP and other cardiovascular diseases. Optimal magnesium but not too much can also help with Bp. Keeping HCT under control can also help. Optimal TRT when you manage other factors should not be an issue for BP. Many patients are on TRT and BP meds and there’s no contraindications.
The second spearker is a truck testosterone defiantly makes me more rage. I take over the reccomeded dose though . But I defiantly feel on edge . Feels good thought . 😊
I have a different take, when testosterone is adequate you are likely to act in an aggressive situation rather than back off. That's how a man is supposed to act, it's based on confidence. He who hesitates is lost. So is it rage or is it actually evaluating a situation and doing what needs to be done?
Love Doctor T. But the secondary Erythrocytocis is not Jak2 Cancer. So not sure why he is concerned. I think this gets into why doctors shouldn't treat themselves or look at their own labs lol..
You should be on 0.50 every three days, until your numbers slowly come up, not all at once! This is not going to happen overnight… you will start feeling better in three months….🏁
‘balance my hormones’ needs a name change. As a male I cannot respect a female bodybuilder discuss hormone health advice when she’s obviously traded menstrual cycles for steroid cycles.
I cannot stand this dude who wears the black jacket and sits in the light like he's the punisher all the time. I'll give him this, pretty good in this lighting.

108/71 is perfect as is 112/77 for a 56 year old
Not bad at all
Do you drink coffee?
It's great to hear about the improvements in your blood work! Keep monitoring your health closely.
140mg-200mg a week is the perfect dose of test per week. Stay hydrated and do cardio. Don’t get too big and your bloodwork will look decent.
Thanks for the advice! It's important to find the right balance for optimal health.
The normal range is 300-1100. Does that sound like one size fits all?
Cardio has zero to do with it. Diet is more important than cardio

If you take Sustanon it may not have kicked fully in yet, it may take months and few years when the benefits are in their full efficiency.
That's awful man. You need at least 100 mg a week.
What country do you live ?
50mg per week would probably mess with your natural production and make things worse?

It's crucial to have accurate information and standards in the medical field. Let's hope for positive changes.

Can a 72 Y/O man take TRT ?
You're in the age range that makes it most useful. Although if you take it outside of low test symptoms you will become dependent on it.
