I think you’ll like About Grace, which is much larger in scope in terms of travel, time, and space but is still rich with his beautiful writing. So glad you liked it though, I’m been sweating since you bought it
I love your descriptions, but to be honest, when I read it I felt very meh about it... I guess what you said about it being a thriller it makes sense, and that was probably part of my problem, since I do not particularly like thrillers :)
A favorite book for me too. Can I just say that I really like that you keep your videos so short? Please, don't go longer. Not because your reviews aren't interesting enough, but I myself like more (videos) than longer unlike some others. Thanks, and keep up the good work. Loved how you butchered Murakami.
Thanks for watching Ann! My aim is to try for 10mins or less with each review…I quite often fail ha. Yeah Murakami…clearly a good writer but too many ludicrous decisions and can’t write women at all!
Cloud Cuckoo Land is also another wonderful masterpiece of Anthony Doerr, I hope you'll do a book review of it. Would love to know your thoughts about it.
Great way of describing this book! I have very similar takes on it. I really wanted to love it, I could recognize it was an excellently written book, but it just didn’t go that extra step for me. I cared about the characters a lot, but I still felt like they were not fully developed? I don’t know. I expected more.
I really like Your channel! You choose all of the books I was about to read and Your reviews are so well done, without spoilers, from an another perspective - as a man - You make me feel even more interested in reading those books! I'm from Poland, so sorry if my grammar is not perfect:D I would love to hear Your opinion about Björnstad by Frederik Backman - i just started it and after third chapter I feel like I don't know if it is worth it:( I saw every single video about this book and everyone is saying "just read it!"... Have a lovely day and thank You!
Have you read Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks. The book I have bought the most copies of and loose them all when I lend it out but happily buy it again A friend who was anti war read it then handed it back saying she never understood, that she wanted to go buy a 1,000 poppies to help veterans
The end is where it should be, not a single letter need be added. The twin coincidences of climax and anti-climax are true pitch and unperfect, just as life. Nevertheless, a pleasant review.
Should we have to read all the chapters or skip some because some chapters (0,2,4,6...) Cuts from the main stream and Takes us to very different scenarios plz reply
Absolutely loved reading this book. Can't recommend more.
All the Light We cannot See is a modern classic! It must be read by all of us.
I love how cozily you describe writing. You make me want to drink tea while hugging a cat and reading a super long book. :]
Loved this book. I'm obsessed with historical fiction, especially ones that are set during the World Wars.

Great recommendation. I’ll definitely read his back catalogue and his newest one.
I have just purchased this with my monthly credits on audible but something makes me want to buy this paperback.

I just found your channel. I watched every video, all thumbs up. I ordered some books. Well done. Oh yes, I subscribed. Thanks.
Whey! Thanks watching M.C. And watching them all, that’s commitment. Glad you found some books to order. Which ones did you go for?

I haven’t. I’ll be sure to look it up. Thanks.

I assume that if it’s in the book, it should be read.
It's all a bit kitschy no?
Awesome book
