I have an in person embassy interview next week! I’m so happy that my documentation was all correct but now I’m so nervous for the interview 😬 I have one week to prepare it, wish me luck!
I did not pass to the next phase 🥲 I think it was due to my essays not being the best because my interview went quite well. I’ll try again next year! Getting to the embassy interview stage was already a big achievement!!
i've watch a lot of other people interviewed that got accepted by gks and this is defenitely a very hard question you nailed it🔥🔥 hope i can be this capable as u for my next application😭
Hi! Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and for the tips, they are very useful I'm applying for the first round this week and I'm very nervous but your videos have helped me I hope you're doing great and achieve everything you want!
@@joelwilliam7295 hi Joel. My interview was physical and it was really immersive and simple. The interviewers were three ; one Kenyan and two korean. Here are the interview questions 1.introduce yourself 2.why do you want to study civil engineering in South Korea 3.why did you choose GKS Scholarship compared to other currently available scholarships 4.what are your dreams 5.citing relevant examples, how do you deal with challenges 6.if given a big amount of money, how would you use it 7.what are your plans after graduating? Will you stay in Korea and advance your career or come back to your country
Just curious, but did you have another interview with the universities or Korean Education Department after the Embassy interview?? Your videos are so informative and helpful!!! I'm really grateful that you documented each step!! I don't feel as nervous for applying now 😅
Hiiii thanks a lot for all the great info and good job. Would you kindly tell me what are the important things that we should do while we arrive at Korea's airport? I mean regarding getting any documents or cards related to our stay there or about our mobiles and SIM cards, every important stuff like that
I can’t remember doing anything when I arrived in Korea. 😅 As long as I have my visa I’m good. For the registration card, I believe the university will tell you about it. Because here, my university is the one fixing it. For sim cards, during my first few days, I bought just an esim through klook. And when I found a reliable person for the sim card, I applied there.
I am applying for gks university track whose deadline is 12th April 2024 and my apostille documents have not come yet hence I was thinking to send the application ackee by tomorrow and when the appostille documents will come I will post it as soon as possible will it be acceptable
I have a question, if you apply to university track, can you apply in two different uni?? like for example, im gonna send my documents to pai chai uni and another one to chungnam nat uni..can I do that?
Hi, thank u for the video. I am going to chonnam university with gks, I would like to ask you how much money should I take with me to cover the living expenses for one or two months (food, dormitory, etc) thank u for your help
Hello, ma'am. Good afternoon! I would like to ask po what do you think are the pros in applying to the GKS through Embassy track, and how many do you think are the number of applicants that the Embassy are receiving every year particularly to the Graduate program?. Thank you so much po
These are the pros that I can think of: 1. You can choose 3 universities. 2. Usually the first round of embassy track ends first before the deadlines of university track. So even if you failed in embassy track, you can still submit for the university track. 3. Not sure with this one 😅, but if you’re more on the art side I think it’s safer in embassy track since in university track they prefer the ones in science courses?
I want to apply to this scholarship but I don’t have topik, toelf or anything, I don’t have anything but my grades are good, do I stand a chance?🥲 I want to apply this year and I’m already 23yo
