insane time - mad f'n props to you! I've done about 30 solos and my best is only 20:20 and I'm stuck in the 20-22sec range so thank you for posting yours. I assume you bail on the attempts once you realize you're behind?
I feel I need to send a thank you to you for not just getting me into gta racing but racing games in general. Found a good group to race with and just did my first ever 8th gear gfred, took me 38 minutes, but I finished. Most fun I've had in ages. Thank you for your inspiration.
watching these last gfreds, you wouldnt think broughy has done around 200 of them.. still waiting for the day brough learns how to stop cars on a highway without getting flattered overy other race.. but it's only 10th gta anniversary, there is still time to learn!
Personally I enjoy the evolution of the race and how this very silly "cult classic" track was optimized. Without the competitive aspect, I bet GFRED would have been a forgotten meme lost to the ages.

GFRED SUMMARY SERIES Gfred #298: G-PH-red - More Chaotic Records and Randomness . . . . SPOILER ALERT After Broughy got Sin Binned in a Random Race, it’s time for Gfred. He had some issues getting the Audio to be clean for Gfred, he can’t turn off the AC. It’s too hot. He then read out some Donations. He reminded himself that the theme is the most common Random More Vehicles. He chose to start in BMXs. And he immediately pedaled away to safety. And he overheard the Mods saying he should be banned for a few months. Fllambe said “I'm trying to give you more offseason!” He tried to figure out that this is the 5th Day of the Gfred Week. Then there’s random man stuck at Mirror Park, making Broughy restart the Lobby again. And now he changed the vehicle because BMX is a mess. He chose Faggio Supersport. And now, get ready for the Chaos, with a long hold on the starting lights. He got a pretty decent launch too… which is ruined by Broughy roaming in circles underwater. Now he explained about the 5th Day of Gfred Week… which is done a month after the previous ‘Day’, still in the Gfred T-Shirt. 2 Days on RUclips, Two Weeks on Twitch, will be the 8G LapFred. Right on the 10th Anniversary of GTA V. Don’t forget to sign up on 8th Gear Early. We need Hundreds of People. And yes, we’re in a New Season on Project Homecoming. The theme of this, 5th Anniversary of Random More with the Drift Cars, got their discussion made since June, amidst the business of Yearly Releases of Random More. Dinmite said about “Top 143-ish iirc”, as he got a Dad Joke with Kindle. And this is not balanced AT ALL. And somehow, he survived being rammed by a Ruston. Now both Jujo snatched that Ruston, as well as Yeetacus with the Tyrus behind it. The AI just refused to stop when a Ruston hit him when Broughy tried to take its brethren. And then Deeest’s Furore GT3 somehow flies off into the prior incident, killing Broughy, Final Destination Style. That’s yet another unbelievable death added to the count. At least we get another Dad Joke with a broom. He revealed that the Noise Cancellation feature fell apart when it comes to high-pitched sounds like the AC, I guess. Better than no Noise Cancellation though. He found a Cougar that just randomly waited on a Bridge. He now explains that after experimenting with Traffic Spawns in PH a lot, that the Spawns is dodgy. That out of 147 cars in the actual pool, only like 7 spawns in the traffic. Only Furore GT3, Ruston, Tyrus, Voltic, that’s it. Along with a lone Huntley S and Fieldmaster. It’s a noble effort to try though, as he had to take a Huntley- I mean Tyrus to avoid people wrestling for the Furore. There’s a Moonbeam too now. He’s busy looking at how much left is behind him that he didn’t look at a Voltic about to hit him. He believed he’s 31st. RBS seemed respawned from Second after changing car. And there’s an Adder too. And with 130+ Top Speed, perhaps he’s keeping this to the end. He wondered about the Off-Road though. And he saw RBS running out as he enters the Quarry. There’s now FMJ GTE… and Hyperion which Dinmite got. Now decent cars have spawned. And update, RBS got the Solo World Record again, did a Verdilith and became the 2nd person to held All Five Gfred Platform Records. Especially the PC, who he took from Verdilith, formerly held by Sarah for a LONG time. He got an astonishing sub-16 time. The First of its kind. He thinks it’s 15:58. He told people to see the link in the Spreadsheet if they want to see the record. We get Gfred Speedrunners now, so Records will surely be keep decreasing. He never thought it is possible, it’s absolutely insane. So, Props to RBS for achieving that. The Link will be in this one’s description too. It's something deserving to be seen. And speaking of the Devil, he spotted RBS’s Voltic at the Arena. And the PS5 Record is only 16:11 too. Then somehow Deeest’s Furore hit a barrier, swerve close enough to Broughy Again! Lolbenz said “I’ve managed 48 mins when i did it with a friend” The First Time isn’t easy indeed. The Speedrunners are ridiculous and he doesn’t have the mental capacity nor capability to do that. It’s kind of fitting that we’re celebrating Sub-16 Gfred while nearing Episode 200. He missed a Hyperion, but now he felt he doesn’t want to take it because of Chiliad… is it worth taking a Desert Raid? And Tyrus didn’t feel too bad off-road. He’s being so far back he just look forward to see where he finished. It’s obviously NOT First. That Death though, what a nightmare. The Finale of the Gfred Week is a PS5 Gfred. Then he remembered why Dinmite did this traffic, because RUclips Comments might complain that Friday is for Random Races. So, he’s doing a Random+Gfred Hybrid. Mild said “The Tyrus has a OTL of 1.4 and it's RWD” which is basically Jester but faster. He’s hopeful with the amount of power this Tyrus had though. Usually, Power can brute force the other deficiencies. And Tyrus has good Base Grip too. Should be able to do Hotlap, but alas, he took Elevator. And… he killed an animal. He doesn’t think he can catch up with how much good cars there are at the start. No Issues at Chiliad since the cars are competitive enough. He doesn’t even feel like he’s in a Top Half. And Speak of the Devil again, RBS in an Infernus. Okay, now he stops talking about the Records. But this is why he couldn’t win Vanilla Gfreds anymore. He can’t even do Sub-18. Bergi said “The high competitiveness makes it less fun imo” But well, it’s split, some people like or hate the competitiveness. But that’s why Variations, Transforms, PH, and 8th Gear exist to mix it up. Bergi said “The 8th gear massive ones have put a huge twist on it”, where Competitiveness is impossible. Hopefully, everything will work this time. AND he killed a DEER! Predictably, everyone’s outraged. And Lok took the win, as he tried to remember when did he won recently. While he somehow spun-out MID-AIR?! People would complain that Lok won not just Random Alls now. He’s unbeatable, Broughy need a bit of Skill and Talent. Lok said “That big Gfred win was my first Gfred win in like 2 years!” Though he won his recent ones in close proximity. GGs regardless. He fumbled a bit on the Zancudo Entrance, but he managed to save it. While someone else overshoot into the Riverbank. It’s cool to see Boundaries being pushed. Winning Races, Getting Fastest Laps, Speedrunning Gfreds. He couldn’t do it, so he might as well appreciate it. He stumbled at Hail Mary, opening the door upside down. But he had enough speed to be able to deploy the parachute nicely. He can’t do the Drop-Down Trick though. There’s Two Swimmers he can overtake however. And No Way! He got a 10th! A Decent little comeback all things considered. Tyrus did him really well. He thanks everyone for their GGs. And he’ll take it. He didn’t drive too badly after the Death. It wasn’t a bad race. Combi Christ said “You must have the world record in come backs.” RBS said “Massive thank you for the shoutouts there Broughy1322, really appreciate it. RBS is 13th, Deeest, Chicken, and Yeetacus are 16th to 18th. He had no Fortitude and Perseverance to Solo Gfred, or anything in particular. Especially with randomness of spawning 9F and myriad things that could have gone wrong. But doing those give you immense skill for the actual event. He should focus on getting good, rather than being annoyed to those who put the time and effort to be good. RBS said “Also tried the full send behind you Broughy1322 but there is a rock that spawns in the way that isn't there on vanilla GTA, at least on my settings. So that didn't go well” Bombomber asked “What would your time have been without the 2nd run?” Maybe he lost three minutes. Dinmite now take the notes and… “In joint-3rd place with 9 appearances in RM are 11 vehicles, some notable mentions are Rapid GT, Rapid GTE, HHB Feltzer. In joint-2nd place with 10 appearances, the 9F and the F6200, typical. And 1st place with 11 appearances in RM is... well, have a guess.” It wasn’t any of the Unholy Trinity as Broughy guessed, though there’s a lot of regular cars on Random Mores too. Dinmite said “Dozer (5) Tractor (6)” And Dinmite said Correct to Erpetter… who guessed both Felon GT and Omnis, which one? Unsurprisingly, people said Rigged, because Broughy often chose Omnis on the Custom Classes. Turns out though, the Open Wheeler seen in Airport is probably CW19. And we get like 6 DNFs too. Dinmite said “but I "think" my new pop group plan worked? different areas had notably different stuff spawning, sample size of 1 but still” and the Variation is decent after the Highway. TDD said “I lost the Gfred spirit after my 5th death between the Observatory & the finish”
Props to all the people like RBS that put effort into improving their play on gfreds, but it is quite disheartening at times that Broughy can no longer win most gfreds, the person who made them famous, because of all the speedrunners and such cos theyve taken it to another class effectively.
You added almost exactly 3 more minutes to your run due to the death so you'd have been in a fight over the win with Lok if you didn't have died at the highway
You should do a reaction / commentary video on RBS' world record video...I'd love (and i'm pretty sure lots of people would too) to just hear your take on what they did right to get that time. I watched the video and didn't see anything crazy (not throwing shade or anything, it was great driving) other than the fact that they inmediately got a 9F on the highway...but it was the same when sereniel got their WR excetp it was an infernus, and it was an 18 min WR...so what do you think RBS did different to cut 2,5+ minutes off of that WR...don't know if your'e that interested but i'd just love to pick your brain when reacting to that.Cheers!!!
I've done a fiew races with you in live and it's awesome, especially because it's really hard to find clean players on PC. But the two Gfred i've done on 8th Gear were really painful. I was killed once on the first and twice on the second by other players while climbing on Chilliad, I think I'll place on this one
Hard to define what exactly the slowest 50 are because there's different ways to come to that conclusion Plus doesn't exactly sound like a fun theme to race in

@@nulllord2883 the tractor and lawnmower have too little power to make it up, at least im fairly certain they are impossible. Dozer up the path from the sawmill is possible but takes around 25 minutes
Honestly the really fast guys make it kind of boring. I'm here for YOUR videos. Plus to already know that 1 of 5 people are pretty much guaranteed to win based on the platform gets about as stale as Hamilton or Verstappen winning every weekend :/
Broughy cheated death last race. What he doesn't know is death doesn't like to be cheated. So this race he was actually on final destination and death simply caught up to his character. It just wanted to give him a little hope just to troll him, then it got it's revenge. ^^
My god in a car the man is decent but Jesus wept for how long he has played gta he is just a walking noob on foot , literally can not move around with any type of co ordination terrible use of cameras and feet 😂 his last two deaths in these g Fred’s shows this, and his constant fail after fail even just getting off the first island

Props to all the people like RBS that put effort into improving their play on gfreds, but it is quite disheartening at times that Broughy can no longer win most gfreds, the person who made them famous, because of all the speedrunners and such cos theyve taken it to another class effectively.

You should do a reaction / commentary video on RBS' world record video...I'd love (and i'm pretty sure lots of people would too) to just hear your take on what they did right to get that time. I watched the video and didn't see anything crazy (not throwing shade or anything, it was great driving) other than the fact that they inmediately got a 9F on the highway...but it was the same when sereniel got their WR excetp it was an infernus, and it was an 18 min WR...so what do you think RBS did different to cut 2,5+ minutes off of that WR...don't know if your'e that interested but i'd just love to pick your brain when reacting to that.Cheers!!!

I've done a fiew races with you in live and it's awesome, especially because it's really hard to find clean players on PC. But the two Gfred i've done on 8th Gear were really painful. I was killed once on the first and twice on the second by other players while climbing on Chilliad, I think I'll place on this one

@@nulllord2883 the tractor and lawnmower have too little power to make it up, at least im fairly certain they are impossible. Dozer up the path from the sawmill is possible but takes around 25 minutes

Broughy cheated death last race. What he doesn't know is death doesn't like to be cheated. So this race he was actually on final destination and death simply caught up to his character. It just wanted to give him a little hope just to troll him, then it got it's revenge. ^^
