    Thank you so much for the review of The watch. I just got mine from Temu 3 days ago. I'm not going to trust the numbers but I am going to use it to look for fluctuations. And because of you I have figured out how to shut off the speaker on it! It doesn't have a high quality speaker and it sounds very tinny with my audiobook.

    It's a Toy with many buttons, no where near accurate, but thank you for all the effort to investigate it. LS

    The new version is the ET481 and can be found on some sites but not Temu or Aliexpress yet for some reason. There is also the bigger square version of the watch the ET580 and I suspect the band version ET682 is probably going to show up soon as well.

    Love your comprehensive reviews and would also love to see you continuing to touch on continuous vs on demand health features in the future. Do most of the Blood Pressure tracking smartwatches these days do continuous tracking (every 5-15mins)? Or is this rarer than on demand BP readings?

      Most of them are on-demand only. This one is still my favorite and makes the measurements automatically. ruclips.net/video/Lyqx6E_YB-s/видео.htmlsi=tSVTqzM7lJSG32kq

      @DaveTheKayaker awesome thank you! I appreciate the response and will check out the video. Also, out of curiosity, do you resell any of the watches after the reviews.. or just keep 200 different ones on hand (lol)

      Actually, they accumulate in a box and then I just give them away to family and friends who want them. Trying to sell them seems like more trouble than it would be worth. Once or twice I did giveaway contests but you won't believe how people can complain about something they got for free.

    Where is the vibration intensity and always on display?

    I have the same watch and it doesn't even provide an option for blood glucose

    These non-invasive glucose watches appear to not monitor "blood" glucose. They appear to monitor interstitial fluid (IF) glucose. This IF fluid that is between cells and in direct contact with capillaries that have blood in them, receive the glucose from the blood but it is delayed. Blood is the source and IF is one of the absorbers. These watches may be accurate if you delay the reading but realize that due to the delay and cells also being fed glucose from the blood that the peak in the blood will start to decrease before the IF peaks such that IF will not peak as high. Different people have different delays but it would be possible to infer through a calibration the IF value overtime as meaningful to the blood value. Plus there are situations where the IF glucose value is therapeutically more important than the source or blood glucose value. NIH has done studies on this.

    Interested about glucose monitoring. I guess no smartwatch can do it accurately

      I have tried many smartwatches that claim to measure blood glucose. Not one is even close to being correct. They all read very low.

      That sounds like a question for the company. I am an independent reviewer.

    I know about your caveat, but what features do you feel are the closest to being correct? Thanks

    • @DaveTheKayaker
      @DaveTheKayaker  5 месяцев назад +1

      I trust SP02 and heart rate. That's about it. All the rest of the numbers are for "reference only," which to me means they are not accurate, but if you monitor them and know what the baseline is then a deviation is something to look into.

    Anyone feeling a slight burning sensation when the green laser light is on?

    • @DaveTheKayaker
      @DaveTheKayaker  4 месяца назад +1

      It isn't a laser it is an LED so noticeable heating is very unlikely.
