We havent been, ironically we went to Porthcawl earlier in the year but it wasn't open then as far as we could see. We will have to go back at some point!

I've been on a grand total of 4 roller coasters in my life haha I'm not an enthusiast nor do I know much about roller-coasters and theme parks in general. Why is this an enthusiasts dream?
Best way to enjoy the ride is by letting go of stiffening your muscles. If you don't trust the security stuff that holds you in there, grabbing onto it for dear life won't help in case of an accident.

I think its Dragster at Cedar point that gives out free t shirts, even though its WAY rarer here It only happens for the first few days of every season on Stealth as the computer needs to adjust.
It's because, although the ride is designed to allow this to happen safely, it isn't supposed to happen, so it's an incredibly rare experience very few people will ever get to ride.
It's perfectly safe lol, it's designed to accommodate for roll back. Stealth is one of the safest rides there are. However I could see why this would scare some people. Me personally I've been on this ride many times never had a rollback though but would love to experience it, would make the ride even more thrilling lol

This was filmed on Saturday 18th March at Passholder preview day and we are fairly sure this was the 2nd roll back. Perhaps you were on the first one just after 10am? The ride queue was cleared after 2nd rollback. Stealth reopened later and it happened a 3rd time so perhaps you were on one of those trains?
It's an amazing ride! No need to be scared, not only are Rollbacks extremely rare but the ride is designed to be able to Rollback safely. So in the extremely unlikely event you do Rollback you'll never be in any danger. You just might join a very exclusive club who have experienced a Rollback! Enjoy your trip on Monday!
This is completely safe and trust me the ride engineers design it for rollbacks and for it to come to a safe stop. Anything you are worried about on a coaster the engineers have already have a solution.
They did reset the ride and send the same riders again and it made it. However it 3 trains later it rolled back again. This video is actually the second rollback of the day!

I have done this! My mum and I had waited for the front row when a hailstorm hit the park, they allowed everyone to stay or go if they wanted to as they stopped the ride, my mum and I looked at each other and she asked me if I wanted to leave and come back later, I said no as we had already queued for 40 minutes. So we waited and when the rain finally stopped they sent the car round empty a few times before loading the first two cars of the coaster we went up slowed at the top and then started our decent backwards. I remember the pair behind us was a man and a woman and it was the woman's first time on the ride and I remember her screaming "oh my god we're going backwards!" Was the best feeling ever. They took us off and ran it a few more times empty before once again only loading the first two, we got over that time
Rollbacks are completely safe. The Smiler incident is completely unrelated, and you should remember the chance of dying in a car crash is 1 in 93. The chance of dying on a rollercoaster is 1 in 750 million. So it's pretty clear how safe they are generally.
I experienced a rollback on stealth in 2018 or so! I didn’t know how safe they were yet at that point, so the moment at the top when we started rolling back was pretty terrifying, however I think that they should definitely add backwards facing seats because retrospectively the thrill of that was awesome!
Yes, it was a great atmosphere, we were so happy to have been there to witness it, but we do wish we had been among those lucky riders on the rollback!
Rollbacks are completely safe. It even has a sign at the front of the ride explaining that it's possible that it might rollback. So it's nothing like final destination, which is pure fiction.

You should come over sometime, they are good, especially when there is an event on, although it can be quieter earlier in the year. I'd allow a couple of days at each park since the ride availability can be spotty sometimes
Lol, no one is going to fly off. The restraints remain secure at all times and rollbacks are completely safe. The breaks at the bottom are automatic and require no power to operate
Had this happen on the Volcano in King's Dominion to us once. It was the most terrified I've ever been on a roller coaster. Even though you know they won't launch another coaster, your brain thinks they will!

Rollbacks are completely safe. The Smiler incident is completely unrelated, and you should remember the chance of dying in a car crash is 1 in 93. The chance of dying on a rollercoaster is 1 in 750 million. So it's pretty clear how safe they are generally.

I experienced a rollback on stealth in 2018 or so! I didn’t know how safe they were yet at that point, so the moment at the top when we started rolling back was pretty terrifying, however I think that they should definitely add backwards facing seats because retrospectively the thrill of that was awesome!

Yes, it was a great atmosphere, we were so happy to have been there to witness it, but we do wish we had been among those lucky riders on the rollback!

Rollbacks are completely safe. It even has a sign at the front of the ride explaining that it's possible that it might rollback. So it's nothing like final destination, which is pure fiction.

Sometimes it’s because the power isn’t enough so it just goes backwards and I would be terrified but like a happy, terrified like I’m scared but I’m also like very happy at the same time

You should come over sometime, they are good, especially when there is an event on, although it can be quieter earlier in the year. I'd allow a couple of days at each park since the ride availability can be spotty sometimes

Lol, no one is going to fly off. The restraints remain secure at all times and rollbacks are completely safe. The breaks at the bottom are automatic and require no power to operate

Had this happen on the Volcano in King's Dominion to us once. It was the most terrified I've ever been on a roller coaster. Even though you know they won't launch another coaster, your brain thinks they will!
