5:28 Sniper's rifles are the only hitscan weapons in the game allowed to shoot through teammates at any range. The Soldier didn't block the shot; thankfully the Sniper just missed.
I could've sworn I've had my shots blocked before, but I just checked the Wiki and it agrees with you. Seems I've committed misinformation. Thanks for setting it straight.
I love that this also shows either of these killstreaks could’ve ended at any moment due to chance at least 5 separate times. Playing spy sometimes truly is a game of luck.
Yep, I would say Spy relies on luck more than any other class (even though we don't get random crits). Its similar to poker, you can't avoid risks but you can make the best choice to increase your odds of success. Getting screwed by bad luck is what makes the class so frustrating to play at times.
İ think getting screwed by bad luck is also depends on us at some point. İf you are skilled enough , you can fore tell some of these situations and avoid them.
Amazing video as always! i've been addicted to spy gameplays of people with 1000h+ hours, and that made me want to put the hours to improve like that. And now that i've found your channel and seeing that you have done that it brings me motivation to keep doing it, plus your gameplay is amazing and very informative, something that is hard to find nowdays. Your channel is a gem. Keep it up!
This subtitled video format seems to be very excellent at teaching and entertaining, plus it actually works too as while watching the subtitles describe your thoughts and reasons for doing things the way you do and you definitely don't have the flashiest playstyle but I prefer more of what you do because its actually effective at helping the team. there many problems with the 'run in with scout disguise and try to trickstab everyone' method but a lot of the times that doesn't work against better players. you play effectively towards helping your team and something that I've noticed is you actually win quite a few of your games while other spies end up losing but they top score way above their teams. I also think you should show your mistakes more because "a man learns from his mistakes, but a wise man learns others mistakes". also great video btw shit was 10/10
I know it's been a while but this is still your latest spy insights video. I just love how the invis watch grants you something that the dead ringer never could: the privilege of picking your fights. I've been willing myself into mastering the dead ringer for a couple years to *LIMIT TEST* myself, but your playstyle reminds me of my own before I used the dead ringer religiously; so peaceful to choose your kills instead of throwing yourself into a burning fire and try to get out of it alive.
i play a lot of spy in mvm and its funny seeing the similarities between pvp and mvm spy despite them being very different, i should try playing him more in pvp with the invis watch
I used a config made by stabbystabby himself. Here’s the link to the reddit post where he has his config and a lot of other useful things. old.reddit.com/r/tf2/comments/6gyz69/stabbys_everything_pack_2017_editionevery_dang/
Most of my special settings come from this (Most importantly the quick disguise cfgs): www.reddit.com/r/tf2/comments/6gyz69/stabbys_everything_pack_2017_editionevery_dang/ Stuff like sensitivity is described in the cfg files, I stuck with the defaults. Usual loadout: Kunai, Revolver (because I can't aim), and invis watch. Alternative loadout for taking on strong defense: Le'tranger, Your Eternal Reward, Cloak and Dagger
i did get a 22 killstreak as spy on community hightower yesterday i maybe would have gotten more if i didnt always try to do fancy shit with amby like going for hs even tho the enemy is like 40 hp or going to try trickstabbing somewhere what i assure isnt going to work since knockback and airblast and just knowledge of dodging trickstabs and i was using dead ringer but you playing spy like a spy and being a pick class not some agressive mf and actually using own team disguises if i did the same i would get higher ks but i want to play aggresive and hit hs and trickstabs so it is what it is

love that almost half the kills are from revolver kills
Props man! I've never gotten more than 16 as Spy, so this is motivating.
Damn, you make spy easy to play. Its the first spy I see that knows how to use the invisibility correctly. +rep
That invis juke tip alone has made me a better player and gave a new way to dick around f# cking with people, so thank you very much BOS ❤

Another subtitled godlike video. Yes :D
The fact that you kill most people by surprise makes this way better
