    Another awesome build dude. Thanx for the distraction, I needed it. As far as the RAM goes i'm gonna have to say capacity, my son runs sooooo much stuff on his pc that he's sitting at 8gb usage just at idle. You never know what the buyer is gonna be running all the time and I really don't think that they're gonna notice a huge difference in performance. You did good by the pc without a doubt. I'm a few hours from you and yeah this heat is getting bad, lol. How're you enjoying the 100% humidity? Here's a little tip, buy a 100ft garden soaker hose, run it across the peak of your roof and turn it on for about an hour during the hottest part of the day, usually 3-4pm. Till next time

    • @ThePcRehab
      @ThePcRehab  6 месяцев назад +1

      I agree on the capacity. But I told the person who bought it about it and left the ball in his court. I actually lived here for college when I was younger then moved to NC for work so I was well aware of how bad the weather can be this time of year lol. Does not make it any easier though haha. And I’ll give the garden hose a shot, anything to help keep the house cool

    Before getting on board with AMD, the peak performance I managed to squeeze out of a decade-old system was an Asus TUF B85 motherboard, Xeon E3-1285L v3, 32gb RAM and an RTX 4060. I recased it in a glass-panel, better airflow case (Endorfy Ventum 200) and replaced the Intel stock cooler with a Silverstone AR10-115XS. It would have been nice to get more TUF components... maybe in the next build. Thanks for the inspirational content.

    Those TeamGroup SSDs absolutely COOK when under load as the LEDs generate heat. Remember seeing a GN video about it when they came out. The heat can cause them to die early.
    Great video! Looking to start flipping systems in my area as well, and your videos are very inspiring!

    @Tac_3403 6 месяцев назад +1

    Hey there, I've seen a few of your videos now, I enjoy the concept but i think the pacing is terribly slow. I find myself fast forwarding even on 2x speed. Cutting back a bit on the B roll and speeding up the footage of the cleaning and rebuilding process should help keep viewers interested. Without any used parts hunting included, id expect the video to be around the 15 minute mark, a single pc cleaned and built up again. Best of luck

    What's your listing practices? Your PC's seem to sell fast, but seeing what you name your listings and what you put in your descriptions would be nice.
    Also, would you be able to do a test on a fresh marketplace profile? I want to see how hard / easy it is to continue to get sales with your same listing practices on a new account. I'm fairly new to the journey and made my first PC sale recently, but it's been very slow and I'm not sure if it is just my area. I feel like my prices are fair, the listing and photos are great and I stand out from the rest by running a 3 day advertisement, but things could still be better.

    Using TUF thermal paste was a great touch. Concerning the RAM I'd go for the faster pair of sticks every day of the week sacrificing capacity but as you left all slots populated the buyer can decide.

    • @ThePcRehab
      @ThePcRehab  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah that was what I was thinking. I just sold it and told the buyer about it and he can make his own decision. Yeah I thought the Tuf paste was a good addition lol

  • @TheManiacOM

    Hey man! Great video as usual. For the Ram I would probably remove the slower and keep the 16 Gigs of 3200. Ram speed does make a difference with these Ryzen Cpus and you can still put the 2666 ones with an Intel build down the line. Better performance in games will most likely mean a much easier sell.

  • @KaityKat117
    @KaityKat117 6 месяцев назад

    This was pretty dang epic.
    Only thing I would've done differently is to get the pair of faster RAM to finish it the set all the same speed, but that's just cause I'm a completionist lol
    But hey! It's already a beast, even with that minor handicap.
    Amazing as always m'dude

I think you under cut yourself by about $100. My opinion…you have a lot more experience than I. Also it is only 43 degrees in Michigan so yeah don’t complain about the heat brother..lol. Thank you for what you do and I hope you have a fantastic weekend.

    I always test a pc before cleaning to make sure everything works just in case my cleaning results in the flip pc not working. That pc would have possibly been the exception, that was a dust bunny storage rig. The 2060 is yuck only due to the entire 20 series of Nvidia being forgettable junk and the 1080Ti has far outlasted all of it but yes it is a great card for general gaming, just forgettable. Drop an RX6750xt in that rig and call it a day.
    Not an ASUS fan (since the Sabertooth 990FX days) or Nvidia (since the 1080Ti) but your dedication to keeping it Tuf is impressive. Higher end flips here take longer to leave the shelve so we would have made almost no profit as it would have sold for £1000 and sat for a month which is valuable storage space. We tend to make double the profit on £500 budget builds all day. Great build and video. Cheers

  • @TOM452
    @TOM452 6 месяцев назад

    Great job, PC looks awesome. I’d leave all 32GBs in, but would try to run slower memory at 3200 XMP settings, most likely will be able to, no problem. Might need to add a .1V extra to stabilise. Capacity over speed though if not able to. Having 32GBs at 2666 is still decent.

    I'm getting a bonus from work and I think I am going to spend it all on PC parts. Around my area there is nothing, no parts or systems, the occasional piece may get posted but it tends to be quite old and way over priced. So I'm going to put that bonus money to work and build a PC and see if I can flip it for a profit, then if I do build another and see if I can do it again. Hopefully by getting stuff into my local market I can help it grow.

  • @translila

    awesome build !! love the theming as always :) i'd personally go with capacity over speed, just because it tends to matter a lot more when doing modded gaming/heavy workloads especially
    also, i wonder if you're using the auto mode on your camera? it seems like the shutter speed is inconsistent - maybe try using manual mode and setting the shutter speed to 1/120 to ensure that the video is at 60fps consistently, and just using auto iso so that the exposure is still correct

    Can't you just overclock the ram, make sure it's stable and just selling it specifying the ram is overclocked? I mean, gpu manufacturers does it to their cards? 🤷🏼‍♂️
    I would run the faster ram, take note of all the sub timings and then punch in the ram timings manually on the slower ram and just increase the voltage until it's stable up until 1.45v ig that what it takes. If that doesn't work, maybe use the jedec timings and just increase frequency. But since it's ryzen you have ryzen ram calculator. I love memory tuning myself even though it's really time consuming.
    I'm using anta777 extreme profile in testmem to check for instability. If that's stable after a few hours in windows I usually do a 24 hour run from a bootable USB.
    And to really make sure I do play quake champions for a couple of days also. 😅
