I loved Mariah when i was young. Her Christmas album was one of my first cds growing up, but as an adult, i found Dimash, and his musicianship is leagues above most singers. I never like watching these "battles" videos because usually whoever compiles them is usually biased on one singer over the other. But i watch your reactions because you try to be fair.

I swear most of singer (except opera) sing c6 in whistle .. only Dimash who can sing E6 even in head voice(even as a male) vest head voice i have ever heard
She has a very shrill head voice, and at C6 and above a hoarse tone is heard, and if you compare the purity of the sound, then Dimash is much better in the head voice.
Both unbelievable impressive singers in their own right without a doubt, but Dimash is an incredible vocalist whereas Mariah Carey is an incredible artist.

How can this be in any way a strategy :'D video was suggested to me, I wanted to hear some great vocals, and I said in the video that this is all fun and that people shouldn't take it in a negative way. Plus, I reacted to so many Dimash videos so far and this one is just next in line.
When Mariah Carey can write, produce, sing in several languages, play several musical instruments and have a Masters in Music maybe she could qualify for a far second best. Miriah Carey barely speaks correct English and never played an instrument in her life. She doesnt know one key from another which she readily admits. Cant compare anyone to Dimash he is in a league of his own. Having a whistle register doesnt make a singer great its the ability to feel and convey the songs meaning to the audience. Mariah Carey stone faced singing with neither emotion or grasp of what she is singing is very boring. While those with less talent can sing mediocre but their dancing skills keep the audience entertained. When Miriah Carey sings in French or Italian then maybe I would be impressed. Dimash exceeds far beyond the total package.
Dimash is more skilled. He is one of the most skilled in the world and simply oustanding. He is one of my personal biases :D But Mariah does write her own songs, or has written many of them, and she is seen as vocal trinity. In her prime she was one of the best. I also don't think that singing in different languages means you are a better singer or that playing instruments means you are a better singer. That only means you have more talents or skills and you are overall more musically educated, but the video I reacted to only compared notes that they sang, so whatever other skills they possess do not matter in this video.

How can this be in any way a strategy :'D video was suggested to me, I wanted to hear some great vocals, and I said in the video that this is all fun and that people shouldn't take it in a negative way. Plus, I reacted to so many Dimash videos so far and this one is just next in line.
When Mariah Carey can write, produce, sing in several languages, play several musical instruments and have a Masters in Music maybe she could qualify for a far second best. Miriah Carey barely speaks correct English and never played an instrument in her life. She doesnt know one key from another which she readily admits. Cant compare anyone to Dimash he is in a league of his own. Having a whistle register doesnt make a singer great its the ability to feel and convey the songs meaning to the audience. Mariah Carey stone faced singing with neither emotion or grasp of what she is singing is very boring. While those with less talent can sing mediocre but their dancing skills keep the audience entertained. When Miriah Carey sings in French or Italian then maybe I would be impressed. Dimash exceeds far beyond the total package.
Dimash is more skilled. He is one of the most skilled in the world and simply oustanding. He is one of my personal biases :D But Mariah does write her own songs, or has written many of them, and she is seen as vocal trinity. In her prime she was one of the best. I also don't think that singing in different languages means you are a better singer or that playing instruments means you are a better singer. That only means you have more talents or skills and you are overall more musically educated, but the video I reacted to only compared notes that they sang, so whatever other skills they possess do not matter in this video.
