Imagine in about three weeks (one away) they will be about 1 foot high and their feet and beaks will be almost adult size!
At about three to four weeks old the eaglets are covered in a secondary coat of gray down. You can see in this video that they are starting to lose their white down. They also are able to self regulate their body temperature much more now which allows mom and dad to spend more time off the nest. One of the parents is always close by usually perched on a branch keeping an eye on things.
