I agree with that point, as we seen evidence this season when Salah was not in the team, we were scoring goals from Diaz Jota Nunez and even Gakpo got ABIT.
Don’t think Barcelona can afford to buy Nunez……think they are a bit strapped for cash!
They’ll have to move players on. Also, Nunez’s salary is far less than Lewandowski’s, therefore from a financial point of view, it does make sense.

I would give him another season to see if Slot can sort out his goals.if not sell him.
Word is composure Dunk. He is rash no doubting it. However, he gets into more scoring positions than any striker at Liverpool FC. He is frustrating sometimes occasionally all the time. I honestly believe he will score more than Haarland? If and only if, The New Coaching Team can get him to become more composed infront of the Onion Sack.
For me, he's an absolute top wide forward, 'Captain Chaos', a nightmare for defenders, etc - but like Sterling and Werner, he's not a striker as his finishing isn't up to it, so he shouldn't be wasted by playing him there.
I do think we'll see Nunez kick on next season because that would be his 3rd season under us, but he turns 25 and that's kind of age a footballer becomes world-class look at Salah for example when he turned 25 he had his best season in his career and he went on to have top career by date. So I'm giving Nunez one more season to prove everyone wrong, plus at least Nunez isn't looking for move away like Diaz by some accounts.
Under Klopp we play a hectic all out playstyle always have. My main point is this doesn't suit players like Diaz & Nunez, perhaps with a cooler & calmer head coach we may see different players?
Hopefully as a "head coach", Arne will be able to coach Nunez to keep his head ONSIDE a bit more often

A report came out yesterday that according to analytics, Darwin is the best striker in the world. While LFC fans won't believe it, it is consistent with what Jurgen has been saying about him all season. He affects the game in ways we fans can't appreciate. We definitely don't show him enough love. ❤ 💖 ❤

On talksport today a Spanish football expert claims Barca do not meet La Liga regulations and need to sell players first. He also said Barca priority is a holding midfielder and that's it. A lot of lazy journalists out there. Nunez is not good enough for Liverpool but I don't agree with the abuse he is receiving.

I watched footage of Darwin at Benfica and he was lethal when there was no fans in the stadium. Just like Werner and Mount I think he struggles playing in front of a crowd which makes us prob the worst club for him.
I wouldnt sell him, I want to see Darwin play in Slot’s system, Arne has history training players in unorthodox ways.

I would happily let nunez go, I'm sorry he's had bad comments from silly people claiming to be liverpool fans. No player should ever receive such abuse, but he's not scoring enough...we need a number 9 that can get us 30 or more goals a season. His work rate is good, but his finishing touch isn't. Its upto nunez to prove the doubters wrong. He hasnt done that.

He’s had enough chances to. I doubt he’d perform better as the chances he’s missed aren’t down to Mo or the coach they’re down to him not having ice in his veins like a top striker would have
