In this week’s episode, the NAYVA girls are challenged to create iconic festival fits!
We are fast approaching festival season - the biggest music events around the world where the crazier the fit, the better. The girls each chose a different festival to base their fit on, ranging from Burning Man to Glastonbury. They explore music taste, the best festivals to be at this year and how to make your festival outfit go from 0-100!
The girls explore clothes shops, shoe shops and even a trip to the hairdressers to complete their fit. Jasmine takes camping to a whole other level. Angel explores the best footwear to dance the night away. Esme is searching for the perfect LA fit and Faith adds some hair inspiration to the mix! Stay tuned to see how we would style for festivals this summer!

I went to AfroPunk twice and last year I went to the Brooklyn one. I did Marley twist (twisted hair using afro/kinky fake hair) and after my mom was done she added kente printed pieces of fabric into some of the twists. For day one I did space buns and had one twist hanging that was wrapped with strings in rasta colors. For the second day I did a few random bantu knots (mini space buns). I love faith hair style.
The outfits were so well tuned to the individual festivals, you can pretty much feel the vibe just looking at them. As for my essential camping item, it would have to be a decent knife (in damascus and burgandy rosewood) as I'm more into wilderness camping than festys.
