Superman is a platformer for the Sega Genesis. As the Man of Steel, you jump, punch and kick your way through several levels, battling the likes of Prankster, Metallo, and Mr. Mxyzptlk to keep Metropolis safe.
This run improves the previous run (tasvideos.org/...) by over a minute due to more punching and better optimization.

Nostalgia, I played it over a decade ago on my Sega Genesis

Short game. But its very colorful and gets supermans powers across. Like a more forgiving shemp game at times.
I like the simple robot enemy sprites.

So, in this game, Superman beats up a guy who does nothing to physically resist him and then poses for a photo with his battered body as if he bagged him on a hunting trip. Nice.

Love the "Lois Lane missing again!!" Like it's a surprise. After a certain point, they'd just be like "we know Superman is gonna save her, so no worries there. And now sports."

Ikr? From what I've read it's actually by the same composer as the infamous Game Boy Mega Man 2, though this time he has the help of Sunsoft's expert sound programmers and a better engine.

A speedrun where you play as Superman. And you have to run at below-human-sprinting speed the whole time. Shouldn't this speedrun be faster than a speeding bullet?

It would be so cool if TAS runs took inspiration from speedruns and started doing some commentary on some of the runs. TAS runs are super cool, but they are a bit to life less for me usually. I almost forget that it's actually a real person behind the TAS runs, even though I know someone have put in countless hours perfecting it.

      +cmon94 Some have done it.
      Almost exclusively as subtitles.
It's harder with TASes as you would have to post commentate

Some do it, but usually not ones submitted for record times, and like Romaji said, it's a lot harder for TAS runs
