Seems like there's no love for the bass at Blue Crab. I often fill my bag with tarpon and permit, only to end up trading the permit out for speckled bass later.
Dumb question considering im level 44 atm, but higher number gear ratio on reels is what i need to prevent low line tension or lower number gear ratios?
That is a great question, I believe you have it right with higher number ratio = more rotations of your line spool with one rotation of your reel’s handle. But, there should be a “retrieval” statistic that shows how much line you reel in with every rotation of your handle. So with Chinook Salmon in Kaniq, I always recommended over 36”.
@@BoAngles thanks bud, really appreciate you taking the time to respond to comments and being supportive. Definitely a good creator keep up the great videos!! Every time i come home from work and relaxing i put on ya channel and chill out before i even game lol
what setup of casting rod and reel do you use on blue crab ? i sold the gear i had for there and going back now to complete some missions ,was looking to try and balance it out at 66lbs but you maybe had a better set up,cheers
The scaling for money to weight seems a bit off I can make more fishing pike just seems these 40lb fish should be around 5 to 8k each unless that's just me
@toyaryawesome4547 I find it way faster to go after the big fish, yes the pike fishing is good money but it’s not as fast as sturgeon or other bigger fish
hey bz, i really need help with fishing planet. when i put my rod in inventory then i try to put the reel on the rod but the reel is gray-outlined and i cant put it, wwhat do i do :(
@@seanmcsweeney7634 No issue! Yes, the circle in the bottom right corner shows your drag and reel speed, so, arrows pointing up mean reeling in, arrows pointing down mean letting line out
Ah man! Well, the darn days play tricks on us sometimes, try the same lure on 3 different days, and I’m sure one of them will turn into “the buzzbait day” to remember
I think this series is a great idea very relaxed a day out fishing with bo
I don't think I've ever caught anything at night on Blue Crab either. Great vids though!
Stand on the boat dock at night with a rod stand 4 rods #7 hooks and minnows/large minnows. And cast straight out like 65feet
I wish they add an Australian map for barra
Really liking the recent fishing planet uploads Bo.

Hmmm and you’re not trying to put a casting reel on a spinning rod or vice versa?
@@BoAngles how do i know which reel is for casting and other stuff? where does it say that
Can you do bass fishing here next ?
Thats a big 1!!
I think they should have made a salt marsh map instead of blue crab but this is cool too. Maybe they will still add it in the future
How do I fix my rod because when I try to reel in it jut says more line is going out
Are the reel speed arrows pointing down?
@@BoAngles do you mean the circle on the bottom right corner of the screen
