Also update on Barents Sea: I have bought a crabbing boat now so I have done some Net fishing and crabbing as I was able to hire crew members now. Now I’m saving up money to buy one of the really big boats to go trawling
The reason you weren’t hooking the fish in the beginning was because you were just reeling, and not setting the hook (right click). When you are that close that’s is what just happens, so right click then reel next time!
I've been playing since 2015 and I still enjoyed your playthrough. You didn't rush and really took your time with the game and enjoyed the experience. Most people just rush to lvl80 and then they say there is nothing to do. And FYI that thing where you couldn't get a fish and kept getting the message... There was a "exploit" where you could pull out any fish (150kg Arapaima or 60kg Gilded\Redtail) within seconds. They changed it so you have to be certain distance from the bobber\bottom so you cannot just pull them out. This "exploit" still works but only from boats. You can get a max amount weight Bull Shark with that Telescopic rod you have in 5 seconds... People are just arseholes.
@@BoAngles Yep... There is a competition called "Don't bully me Shark" and basically what guys do is take a boat, telescopic rod and play like that. They cast away enough so game will not display the message and then when shark starts biting, they slowly come forward and just pull it out. And if you play with normal high level rod you cannot win.
Bro im sure im dumb for asking this question but whats the green icon thats lit up next to the majesty rod mean or stand for ????? Ive seen them on my bottom rods and they are called quiver tips but i have no clue what it does or if its the same thing on a match rod .but i dont even know what a quiver tip is just saying and im lvl 41 in the game lmao 😂😂
What river did you fish in level 54-58? because the XP at blue crab is really meh for me. (takes me about 3 real days to get half a level in blue crab)
@@beesdiary3854 total noob just started playing at level 63 - funny story to that beginning - I think I had been out float fishing river catfish in real life earlier that week with circle hooks, so I had been reeling to set the hook when I watched my bobber go under… and that just did not translate over to fishing planet when I went back to the game 😆 major confusion
