I learned this song from someone else's video and love your version. I love how you put in that High G...it really gives the song a more authentic feel. I also really like how you show different ways to play the song. Something I'm trying to do on this song is use a slightly different strumming pattern in the first chorus versus the second...it almost gives it a crescendo feeling...still working on it. I'm pretty new at this, but you made it simple enough to follow. First chorus is D, D, D, DU and the second chorus I do it your way with the high G. It really brings the song together. Haven't really figured out how to end it, yet. I can only sing one song while I play (because it's strumming patter is all downs). I'm hoping that eventually, I'll be able to sing while I play without my hands deciding to have seizures, lol! Thank you...love your channel. I subscribed today.

Thank you for the comment! That’s an excellent approach. Mixing things up helps to keep it interesting for the listener and makes it your own. Great job! How long have you been playing guitar?

@@Studio33guitar I started playing at the beginning of April and have about 115 hours of practice in so far (I've been journaling it to track it). Still at the intro/beginner level...but definitely have fun and I'm at the point that my wife enjoys listening to me play my handful of simple songs I can strum.
