A while back I said Sunny should not be saying everybody should be paid the same on the view. I take that back. I have watched the view over the past year and I must say I have nothing but respect, admiration and praise for her expertise, her professionalism, her knowledge and her ever sunny personality even when people throw darts at her. I hope she continues to shine, she is going places and yes you do deserve equal pay and more to Whoopi or anyone else on that stage.

I think people confuse Whoopi and Sunny’s banter with drama, a personal issue, or rivalry. Whoopi is a known cynic with a super sarcastic personality, who is very non-traditional in all her views, nor particularly religious, and very “out there”. Meanwhile, Sunny is a VERY traditional person with a very straight-forward personality, deeply religious, and set in her views, with a very traditional set of morals and ethics. She’’s a bit of a “goody-two-shoes”, in a good way, and she knows that. That’s what makes her such a good lawyer. However, her personality is exactly the type who a cynic like Whoopi would obviously throw jabs at, but I think they are playful jabs. Both women realize they are polar opposites, and Sunny knows Whoopi’s sarcastic and cynical personality and knows the jabs are with love. If there were a legitimate issue, I’m more than certain that Sunny would not only call it out, but go right back at Whoopi and stand her ground. She’s a very intelligent woman, a lawyer, a former federal prosecutor. This is not a woman who’s going to take crap from anybody. I think one of the reasons Sunny laughs it off is because she knows Whoopi’s sarcasm and jabs are done in love. Behind the scenes, based on the way they describe each other, they have a good relationship. I could be reaching, but meh.
