Why don't rap/hip-hop artists allow their live musicians to be on the stage with them? They're as much a part of the performance as J Cole or whomever, yet they're relegated to playing backstage or out of sight. I think it's BS.

Well the set for this concert was a small courtyard cage jail situation so they wouldn’t really fit.,

They usually do, it's just part of Coles set up, he has like a prison behind him, but other times he shows them off
Dude, especially drums are loud as hell, combined with being surrounded by screaming fans man i wouldn’t want that drum kit anywhere near me. And as much as they’re a part of the performance, they don’t need to be there

Seems like every drummer that plays for hip hop/rap uses zildjian! They make the best cymbals IMO.

Everyone’s using Zildjian and Meinl these days. Which is better depends on what you’re looking for imo. Sabian is a close third to me

NSF Drums I think just depends on what you like and the sound you looking for. To me Sabina makes some cymbals that has a sound to them that nobody can compare.
