About every few miles there are signs telling slower drivers to use the right lane. So it furiates me at times is when two vehicles are side by side and you're trying the pass, but the "camper" in the left lane is oblivious to that rule.
Lived in wv first 28 years. Went through both these tunnels so many times. Bluefield to Wytheville over and over. Haven't been there in nearly 10 years....but nearly everytime coming thru the Bluefield tunnel to Va....ALWAYS ORANGE BARRELS. LOL.
WallieB26, thank you for taking me along with you the those tunnels! Really enjoyed your awesome video! My Mom was born in West Virginia. Beautiful scenery and mountains!
So beautiful mountains ⛰️ I never ride through in tunnel Virginia yet. But far away from my hometown Asheville North Carolina. Thank you sharing your video. ❤
@amberbryant8141, you should try going through the bay bridge tunnels, they're very interestingly amazing. My first time going through those, I thought we were actually going under water. One time when I was on vacation in the Outer Banks, someone got broken down in one of the tunnels. I told my parents about it and they weren't surprised because you literally can't pull off to the side in those tunnels which is a bummer, not even if you're carsick.
@michaelhannel4083, those are my favorite tunnels, long bridge though. I don't know why people would just fall off of it when driving. But it's a nice bridge and tunnels, unless it's windy or you get stuck in traffic behind an accident, than that's not so great. My brother hates the tunnels though. Someone got broken down in one of the tunnels when I was on vacation in the Outer Banks 😢.
This is very nostalgic for me! This was my ticket to Myrtle Beach from western PA right here. Beautiful mountains all the way and the double tunnel part here was always fun. Thanks Wallie for reminding me of good memories. I’ll vouch that if you get the chance to drive this highway to do it!
I love the vintage "Pennys" logo in your intro. @0:05. Always thought JCPenney should bring that back and get away from the Macy's and Target red and make themselves unique.
I have to travel through both of these tunnels every time to enter Virginia but it's always nice to drive through. The flea markets in my old town of Hillsville, Virginia is one of the best places. I've had decent luck but main goal is finding Fleer baseball cards especially 1989 because there's a specific card I want. So I'm hoping to get lucky in September
Virginia really is a beautiful state , especially through the Blue ridge Parkway . I have been away from here for a few months , not to be rude , but what happened to Kayla ?
✔️ I enjoy going threw those tunnels they are so much fun! But being in West Virginia though 😒 I will be going threw them Idk when though I'm going to Ohio and Pennsylvania with my family to see other family
I know when your on I 95 heading south out of Pennsylvania you go through Delaware and it's only like 30 miles from Pennsylvania to the state of Maryland
Both of those tunnels look like they’re in pretty good shape, unlike the tunnels on the PA Turnpike. BTW, I’ll be going down that way next month. Going to the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area for a couple of days. While I’m there, I will be checking out the newly opened Buc-ee’s! 🦫🦪
I Love Your Awesome Video Buddy
I'm from Ohio and tomorrow i'm taking a 3 week trip to SC. We go every summer and I love these tunnels with the mountains around them!

A little further south is the unique 77/81 merger. For a few miles you are on 77S and 81N
Nice and relaxing. Love it buddy.

Love that drive! I see it when going to Myrtle.
I live somewhat near these. Next time you should go over the mountain. There's an overlook on the WV side that overlooks a (former) Big Kmart.
Lovely video!
I have lived in va for almost my entire life and have never been through those tunnels. You need till di the Chesapeake bay tunnel/bridge for a video

Watching this takes me back last week driving up to waynesburg, pa . On the same roads......

Awesome video man! 👍
The county sheriff deputies tend to patrol this section of I-77 quite a lot so it is wise to mind your speed on this section of road
Wow 👌 awesome video
I've traveled through those tunnels many of times going to visit my grandma and uncle in charleston wv its always fun going through those tunnels
Love the driving videos,Wallie. More please.
Cool driving mountains

Great intro and enjoyed the ride along video was nice! The Left Lane Bandits might be something I would watch and point 👉 out as well
Cool video
Always love your videos
I came down this way about a year and a half ago on my road trip home from Ripley, West Virginia
Good job. I appreciate the time you take to give us content
5:58 Two (presumably) Virginia drivers matching speed driving side by side. I see that all the time.
There’s was an abandoned Kmart that is now a Gabe’s store on the bluefield west virginia exit
Love the tunnels… love the mountains! 👍🏻😊

Kayla left months ago. Tried everything to save it but she had other plans. Nothing I could do.
@@WallieB26 So sorry 😢
We call them left lane losers in MN. Apparently there is a website where you can report them.
Report them for what, being stupid?
✔️ I enjoy going threw those tunnels they are so much fun! But being in West Virginia though 😒 I will be going threw them Idk when though I'm going to Ohio and Pennsylvania with my family to see other family
2:54 is that a Toll transponder?
