Nice one Derek, glad the wind died down a bit on the ridge. Views are amazing up there. I did the full ridge a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it altho the bad step was quite tricky.

Thanks for watching Frank. It's a great walk. Will definitely be back up there again. Keen to try Meall nan Tarmachan and Meall Garbh in winter. Probably, would return the same way to avoid the bad step. ATB Derek

Nice to see this, went up there many years ago from north-east with some friends on a grey winter day, and never saw anything as thick cloud all day above 2500ft. Helped some uni students who were completely confused, 100 yds off the main path near the 2nd top iirc (heard their shouts for help). And we contined west and then north to descend via the long shoulder of Beinn a' Bhuic, back to car which was at the snow line on the Glen Lyon side. But somehow we had done a 180 in the cloud, which went unnoticed, as we descended towards what we thought was the road down to Glen Lyon. It wasn't until we were well below the clouds when I began to realise the glen we where descending into to didn't look quite right, so checked the compass which confirmed we were heading south-west down towards Glen Lochay, not north-east. Everyone still thought I was wrong, as it didn't seem possible for us to have done a 180 without someone noticing, but after discussion we trusted the compass and went the right way back to the car. btw, It's Lawers, there is no y, so just 'Lors', not Lawyers.

Thanks for watching. Sounds like you had an exciting trip on the hill. Glad rest of your group trusted your compass to get back at end of the hike. ATB Derek

A fine video of a fine ridge Derek. 👍 Wee bit windy but not too bad. I never done the 4th Top, Creag na Caillich. It's no on the Munro Tops list eh? 🤔 Just a top of a top 😉

Thanks Kev. Yes, was a wee bit breezy. Need to invest in one of these microphone set ups to beat the wind noise in the footage. I'd seen a RUclips film where Murray had a wild camp up near the lochan. It's a great spot for it. Might try and get up there in winter, but probably avoid the descent from 2nd top as it would be tricky. ATB Derek

Yes, a circular walk is always a grand way to spend a day on the hill. 👍
