You know Nanu saying "arrest the hell out of you" is fake, right? The robot at the battle facility implies that humanoid robots that think for themselves are found relatively openly, and yet the AI professor is relegated to the crater because they're apparently too advanced to exist where the crystals can't charge them. Which means that they could hopefully adapt their power sources. But also why would we have to keep them a secret?! The despair bed and the bent golf clubs are in the same house. There's a REALLY messed up story in that house. My favorite battle line is from gen 3. "I SWALLOW SLUDGE TO TRANSFORM MYSELF. I HAVE A GROWTH OF SUCTION CUPS"
oh wow, my bad I didn't mean to spread the misinformation. What I did for the most part while making this video was find these on google images or take the pictures myself. Due to Nanu's extremely blunt and deadpan nature that dialogue "Arrest the hell out of you right now" fit really perfect with my own personal idea of his character in my head so I didn't even question its cannonicity. I'll try and be a bit more thuro in my research going on wards, I appreciate the feedback : ) oh I don't belive I've heard of that fact about the AI professors being unable to leave the crater? I thought they just wanted to continue the original Sada/Turo's research of Paradox pokemon. Though if they can't leave without the Tera crystals to charge them why are they ok leaving the creator when they go through the time machine? Also man I know right! Gen 7 has such good character writing. Escpically with its flavor text. Guzma's parent's house is FILLED with little drops of characterizations for Guzma's childhood The bent Golfclubs implying an abusive household that set Guzma on the negative path all those 2nd place trophies while Kikui got 1st, though was helped to be cooled by Hala who was his mentor But after not being picked as a trail captain he left Hala and Kikui and gathered all the isolated and alone members of Alola to create Team Skull a home for those who don't have one. I feel the Anime did Guzma so perfectly hahaha Also yeah, I love all the battle frontier dialogue, I feel they make great use of the battle facilities being only something a quarter of the fanbase will interact with and they just get to have the NPCs go off the rails in quirky dialogue
@sparksaturn1731 I feel like if anyone said "hell" in a Pokémon game it would be extremely widely reported on. The AI says "that is why I cannot leave this place" but when they go through the machine it's assumed that they'd be ending up in the same place but a different era. Plus they seemed to take on a hypercharge in the last battle so it's possible they knew this could save them, since the professor had studied Terapagos and when we're exposed to it our tera orbs no longer need to be refilled. But other robots like the one we supposedly see in this video (assuming they're telling the truth and aren't just a dedicated larper) wouldn't have access to *either* of those things. There's also someone in the battle chateau in Kalos who claims to be a robot...
