A QB who will throw interceptions due to poor decision making and a history of said going back to college. So a player who in a good weather year will be compromised in at least three games and as many as seven games in a bad weather year. Add another two two or three bad decision making games and you have a guy compromised in a third to over half the games on a schedule.. Find a trade partner. In reality Purdy is an ideal back up QB or a guy best suited for playing indoors. If they sign him they will be hard pressed to find him targets, upgrade protection and rebuild their defense. He has proven to be a top six or seven QB when he has time, targets and good weather conditions. Will lose you games in poor weather and games turning the ball over. And with Kittle's age, JJ a FA, Aiyuk with an absolute shredded knee likely compromising a return to previous productivity it makes little sense to sign Brock especially to a longterm guaranteed deal that barring a miracle will likley render you at the bottom of your division for years to come.
