I hope Frankie knows even with the struggle he faces to reach his dream, that God is helping his story inspire others. I’m a 5’9 juco pitcher who just came off tommy. Only been up to 89 and rlly sit 85-86 as of now, I really have no idea how far my baseball journey will take me. But seeing a guy like Frankie pursue his dream as passionately as he does, it helps guys like me keep pushing and wanting to achieve more. Getting to see this guy get signed and maybe even one day climb to the big leagues will be one of the greatest stories to unfold in recent times in this game imo. Great guy with unreal work ethic and a passion that cannot be put out.
If Frankie was 6'3 with the exact same talent, velocity, stuff and stats he could be in a team without a gram of doubt, this fucking system sucks. One of us has to change this shit, we can't give up
Hey treadathletics, this stuff really inspired me as a 15 yo pitcher from Boston because I’m also only 5 7 and only throwing mid 70’s rn topping around 78-79. I’m worried if I don’t get my velo up soon I’m not making JV next year as a sophomore because my school is really competitive in baseball (I go to BC High). Do you guys have any tips to gain velo through drills or weightlifting? I’m really want this I just don’t know the best place to start in order to throw faster. Thx for the great vid happy 😊

stro broke this mold. nvr goin to blow it by ppl w out elite spin so might as well add a sink, cut, and split to round it off. all are easy 2 learn too dont know why more pitchers dont...
Best of luck to you young man! 95-9mph, may throw harder, but blow their arms out in 3yrs or less. While you throw 92-93 more efficiently and for more years.
Huge thank you to Frankie for allowing us to tell his story!

What a great young man. Very inspiring!
.77 whip and doesn’t get signed 😭 what else can the man do
Unfortunately scouts want more velo given he’s a 5’7 righty who’s 28
Well we can just hope the A’s assemble another moneyball team
Proud of you cuz ❤

Frank has thrown 99 but he just didn’t have it that particular day. He brings it in the games. 😤
Such a shame he didn’t get signed this year. Any chance he gets an opportunity to move up to the Atlantic League?
God got a plan for this man. Watch the seeds he planted grow
Go to Phillips tryout maybe Buddy Hernadez will check you out he was 5-7 at most
Phillies
How is no one mentioning he looks exactly like Ken Giles when he has a beard 😂 hope the kid gets a chance, stuff is nasty, makeup is even better
TF im only 5'3
Bro your 5’8 it’s not like you have some disability the sob story setting of this is so weird to me
