Ugh every time you just took a deep breath and smiled… I felt that in my soul. Trying to pursue anything when you have kids is A LOT. I’m so happy you were able to get this time!

I feel exactly like you say at the end. For those without kids is so easy to say "just take a writing weekend", incredible all we manage to do with kids, house chores and school and Dr's appointments 😅❤
Yes, absolutely! It's a struggle for sure. I try to really appreciate the time I have.

One of your best vlogs! Sometimes a mom just needs a retreat to relax and be. Creatives need quiet time and I'm happy that you were able to refresh and make progress on your writing projects.

🥰 thank you, this really brighten my day. Sometimes it's hard to step aside from the daily grind and really appreciate all we do and sacrifice. Motherhood is so rewarding, but it's hard to appreciate it if we run ourselves into the ground. Your mother is lucky to have you and your sister to really appreciate her ☺️
Oh this us beautiful. I absolutely love this concept of a solo writing retreat. I'm heading to Mississippi next weekend. Not solo unfortunately but it'll be nice for a change of pace.

@@madelinejameswrites Definitely! Especially since one of my co-writing projects take place partly in Mississippi. I'm going to go desk shopping and change the room setup for vibes then it's straight to creation!
