Those lyrics are so powerful. I always feel every feeling in Kelly's lyrics. Her songs are so raw and powerful. Incredibly, realistic, emotional, and truth to it's core. She has shown throughout her musical journey these last 3-4 years the entire stages of grief. She lost someone/something, it was her love. Loosing the love that defines "in love" for someone is a huge loss. People do not take the time to understand love and the different types of love. You can love someone for your entire life and they can be your "great life love" and still not be with them. It happens, people, and we have to move on. Not what we want, not what we dreamed off, not what we expected but what has to be done for our health.
Unfortunately, I find this really hitting home. Sometimes you just can’t stop the hurt.

Wow man, I just recently had a baby girl and walked away from her father in July when my daughter was a month old because everything between us changed. And I thought I had healed from losing him. But apparently after hearing this, I have much to work on. I can't stop crying 😭 and idk why. Beautiful lyrics

Well today was my visitation day because my 6 month old is with her father, and he kept denying me. So unfortunately I didn't get to see her today. I saw her last Thursday for 4 hours but it's never long enough. At all, and it kills me that someone who couldn't get a girl pregnant and when he did they'd always lose the child is pretty much taking MY daughter away from me. It's absolutely miserable

In a relationship we try to keep the "moments" forever or repeat them, improve them there is were we disillusion ourselves. The other but mainly ourself. Some are meant to grow with us and some we outgrow. No fault, no blame, no shame. Yes when expectations rise in relationships, and you fight, it dims our light.
Some like the spotlight the other gives you.. if you create a co-dependency you will always be an addict. ❤ yourself with flaws and all, so loving another goes easier. Great emotional song, i wonder how it sounds if you let us hear more of your emotion (like you relive it, slowly.. Just a different vibe, i guess).
This is my first time hearing this. I have not been through quite the same, it's beautifully sung and expressed. Thank you Ms Clark for this song.

I think that every song on this album is great. At least all that I've heard and I think that is the majority. I realize not everybody listens to radios anymore :) but I don't think I heard any of the released songs on the radio even one time. I THINK I heard one of them (can't remember which) on Sirius/XM but that's about it. TBH I'm not even sure HOW they come up with the numbers used to measure an album's success anymore because there are so many charts and so many ways to get songs and albums! Just looking at the numbers means virtually nothing to me!! Maybe I'm just an idiot but more than likely as I've gotten old(er) I haven't kept up with the way this type of thing works anymore! The only thing I know for certain is that Taylor Swift is doing very, make that VERY well since I hear that constantly. If it wasn't for that word-of-mouth I'd probably not even realize that!
