  • "Your faith has made you well" - Jesus says a version of this more than half of the times he performed a healing miracle. No matter how you interpret this statement, we have a responsibility in the healing process.
This is a challenging and difficult truth, but he said it. What should we do with this statement?
The short answer is to put all of your trust and expectation in who he is and his willingness to heal you because he is always willing to heal you.
Faith is not what you do to get something from God, faith is your heart's response to who he is. Faith is your receptivity to his will, which is always healing.
When people weren't healed or couldn't perform a miracle, he cited a lack of faith. When people were healed, he acknowledged their faith as a factor.
No matter how we look at these challenging truths, we must be willing to humble ourselves and do the work to enter the rest. The work is to believe, and apparently, according to Jesus, our capacity to believe is something we have control over.

Pastor Clint! Thank you for your sermons! I am amazed how God has made this possible, but when I hear what you have said the last few times I have received your sermons in my email, I get confirmation of what God has done in my spiritual life. You are talking about things that I have only just experienced in my own life!!
For some time I have known that God wants and calls me to speak out loud about Him. For the past six months, God has been guiding me through radical and otherworldly changes in my faith. I publish videos on this subject on YT, you can also read them in English, because I add English subtitles to them.
Why am I mentioning this? It is because what God has been putting into my heart and the changes He is bringing to me in my spiritual life have been exactly what you are talking about for the last few weeks. It's hard to understand humanly, but what you're talking about, I listen to literally right after the fact, when exactly it happened in my life. The promises of God you have mentioned about at the beginning of the year. I felt in my spirit that we have to stick to them and I recorded a videos about God's promises. And right after that, two days or so after that, I heard you pastor talk about God's promises in a sermon that came to my email. Today I hear about faith and the experience of peace and all these attributes of Christ, etc. A few days ago this just happened in my life!!! (I'm about to share another video about that.) Against the circumstances, I entered a state of peace with God. And literally, tangibly, I and another person felt how the atmosphere in the room changed and this feeling of relief literally became our share in a very difficult situation, a dramatic moment. And later that day I asked Jesus what he thought about me - I often do it lately - and he gave me these words: "then was I in his eyes as one that found peace. " Salomon's Songs 8, 10b.
Wow, can there be a more wonderful dialogue than the one we have with God? Now I listen to what you say about faith and I can testify that this is exactly what about faith I've experienced! I hope I make myself clear. I am half through your sermon right now so i don't even know what else I'm going to hear but I had to write this comment right this moment.
Isn't it faith to enter this most wonderful place, this spiritual space where Jesus resides, AGAINST all the conditions of life that scream pain, suffering, despair and resignation?
For a long time this question always came back to me, how is it that Peter and Silas, sitting in prison, beaten and weak, and yet they sang hymns to the Lord! I wanted to understand it. God knows how much I wanted it. How is it that the martyrs went to the stake with a song on their lips. God has given me a small insight into this understanding. I learn God's ways all the time and I am aware that I know next to nothing yet. But it hurts thinking and realising how much we as Christians do not understand that we really live in the spirit and that what is spiritual IS OUR REAL reality.
Thank You, Jesus, that You are there and that Your reality is much more real than this material reality in which our bodies are stuck. Pastor, I can't wait to see what this next day will bring, because in my life for more than half a year, every day, I experience a series of signs and miracles that I never dreamed of before. I want to learn more of God's ways. I'm SO grateful to God! Blessings to everyone who will read these words. Praise the Lord!
