My great grandpa fought in this battle and I’ve never played a game that has the battle of bulge in it so I’m very excited for this update to come to Xbox. I still have his officers hat that he wore during the battle.
The gorget (the little plate hanging under the collar of the neck) of that uniform you called cool at 13 minutes in isn't actually SS, it's from an organization known as the Feldgendarmerie. These guys mostly did police work behind the lines, setting up roadblocks. It's nice that they included them in the Bulge because the advance was so fluid in some sectors that police units quickly became overran and had to participate in combat themselves.
New maps and uniforms look great! Now we just need a Bastogne map, I was expecting more snow and trees. The Hurtgen forest was so thick with trees that they had a really hard time getting tanks through. Maybe this is just the outskirts though
I would call it a compilation of maps, not a campaign, campaigns are still sadly dead, have been since the 4th, with as lazy and cheap as the devs have gotten I wouldnt even be surprised if the bulge maps were just recycled Moscow maps that now have "American/British/Austrailian/French/Moroccan/Aslan/etc" squads fighting the krauts and Italians, and the snow witch.
I would love a couple of maps in Holland for operation market garden , i think it would interesting to fight in shallow water, as well as having another US paratrooper squad
Little disappointing the update won’t bring any new guns for Americans but the vehicles and guns/trucks for other nations gonna be great but I hope the cosmetics stay over in different maps I pray
Hopefully when the update actually comes out they give the Americans something new. It would be nice if they still gave the factions new weapons that are historically accurate for the new “campaigns” that they have so it feels like more than just a new map.
Listening to Quadro talking about PTRS i accidentally imagined HMG or RPG mounted on the truck and was like...oh shi~ it's like cool Arabic Tooyota going to Enlisted
You can break battle rating 2 for the allies by taking all the free event squads that are BR2; Australian squad pacific, British paratroopers and SAS squads from Tunisia, American paratroopers and USMC Thompson squad from the pacific, an M8 Scott and a Grant. They are all BR2! throw in a standard radio squad for artillery as all the above squads don’t have a radio operator. It’s an easy way to totally dominate.
I was playing japs at T2 and suddenly... the paratroopers started falling down from sky. And its like just.... WTF? )) And yeah, for the other side it is just speed shooting contest.
Ah yes the famous never manufactured MG-45 and STG-45 squads vs M2 Carbine and marines paratroopers in jungle frog camo uniforms, just the way uncle Sam remembered the Bulge!
@@HeyQuadro I definitely would want a proper snow covered map for the Americans. Also Germans should have proper late war winter uniforms rather than early war.
Have the devs said anything about the matchmaking? I just want to play tier 3 with decent Smgs, mgs and other equipment whilst still haviny decent amount of bolts and semis
Looks like the Na-To will be the last Tier 4 tank destroyer for the Tanker 3 class that Japan will get and moving forwards it will be future Tier 5 tanks. I am excited for this new update but you also forgot to check what Tier the two Early Type 99 Rifles are.
These terrain updates are nice, but what is pressing is the crazy balance issue game after game. It's always a constant romp. I know it's bad when I'm the top my side and I'm not good.
Look on the bright side, the devs ruining this game has brought alot of old players back to Battlefield 1&V, if you going to play a WW2 arcade game with no attention to historical accuracy or realism, might as well play one with good graphics and UI. RIP Enlisted.
APC squad is like acting mobile rally point, the passenger ur saying is when the other playyers squad hop in it will add into passenger, your squad that riding on APC is not counted as passenger only the other players will count i think XD
I actually hate the US uniforms. 1. What the hell is that black coat? 2. Black camo helmet??? Tf??? 3. Green coat??? AND it’s too short!!! 4. No sexy brown coat? Blasphemy. 5. The clothes looks like the BFV uniforms. PAPER These uniforms are so inaccurate that it’s insane.
I hope they will add Finland because I want to play as the Finns due to myself being 25% Finn (and 25% Swede, Dane, Norweigan = 75% Scandinavian and 100% Nordic). I especially want a tier where you get Simo Häyhä who is my personal hero of the Winter War. I also want them to add Swedish troops into the Finnish winter war campaign if it were to be added because 10000 Swedes were sent to fight the Soviets who invaded Finland for 0 reason at all and Sweden were the biggest contributor to Finlands defense during the winter war. "Finlands sak är vår" as the saying goes.

Yeah, I could've sworn the map was called Hermann Goering Strasse and Hitler's bunker is at the end because it's next to the water tower.

Okay, almost every single one of my allies games is a complete loss. We constantly get thrown against top tier Axis players. I can play axis, I can play USSR, and the Japanese, but the allies battles have made me not want to play enlisted anymore. What is going on? Is this just me?
Devs specifically call it "battle of the bulge" in game, but youre right that Hurtgen Forest was before the Bulge. I bet theyre just throwing it all together

Conifer trees don't "shed" during winter, they keep their needles. That's why they're also called evergreens.
The "i dont have gear look" is almost more common than fully decked out warm clothing durring the battle of the buldge

The terrain is like that so the trucks have some cover and wont get destroyed as quick like in a flat map

these maps are both pretty early on. Hurtgen forest wasnt even part of the Bulge. Hopefully we get some more snowy maps!
