Came across this by accident. A walk down memory lane. We last went 13 years ago before our daughter was born. Went twice a year for a few years as we loved it so much. The staff were amazing. Great balanced blog. We've talked about going back now our daughter is older and enjoyed your video so much we are going to book again for autumn. Thanks
Great video Dana! I stayed at Sugar beach 3/12- 3/18 for my babymoon. We stayed in the beachfront bungalows and the butler service/room/views were EXCEPTIONAL! Our only qualm was the limited food choices 😔 we thought we would be able to eat off the resort at the high end “COVID approved” restaurants but the resort didn’t approve of mingling off of the grounds. With me being pregnant, I just wanted chicken tenders at times 😂 but the food was VERY French influenced which may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Overall, the resort itself was worth EVERY PENNY of the $11k we spent. I would absolutely stay there again when traveling to other restaurants is available!

Excuse my ignorance but I don’t get out much- what is tip etiquette? Do you tip each time you get driven around? Do you tip every butler? What is the proper thing to do?
The all inclusive package on this hotel is an extra $300 a person per night. Is this way overpriced based on food and drink prices at the hotel in your opinion? I can’t imagen spending $600 dollars a day on food and drink, but I know drinks can be pricey at these places.

Hi! I was wondering is the sea hot? It looks very different form other parts of the caribbean, what do you think about the sea?
Also do you think it's worth it to get all inclusive? My fiance does but I don't drink.
My fiance doesn't like to travel so far so st.lucia is being highly considered for our honeymoon. We are thinking of the beachfront bungalow but your suite is super cool.. What was the exact suite you stayed in called?

Thank you! Currently, the island of Saint Lucia requires visitors to quarantine at your resort. But all beaches are public so there may be a process to get a day pass which they can answer if you call etc.

You have to pay extra for breakfast, restaurant and other food and drink? Or all included?
You have to pay extra but there is an all inclusive option that is an add on fee, so you wouldn't have to worry about paying a bill at the end of each meal.

We staying at this resort in September ad looking foward to it. May I ask if they placed an incidental hold per night on your credit card ?
I don’t remember but most hotels do. You can call and ask I’m sure they will have an answer for you! Have an amazing trip!

Hi Sukari, yes there are some excursions both land and water that are available and they are covid certified to meet the islands standards.

It was peaceful when I was there. Can’t speak for what it will be like when others visit. Most people are on a honeymoon, romantic getaway or family vacation
Which room number did you stay in?
You should've just went to the Maldives, Bora Bora, the Great barrier reef, or Oahu. Way way way much better.
Btw, I enjoyed your Positano and Santorini vlogs. I've been to those places several times 👍🏻
