The super cool thing about Reverend Horton Heat is that Jim and Jimbo don't play a museum style rockabilly, they up the intensity big time so it crosses all generations.
Saw them back in November in TX and a year prior to that opening for the Toadies in Boston. First saw them on this same tour/playlist At Lupo's in Providence on 16FEB97.... Their current setlist is a lot more dialed back to "G" rated content. "Slow" "One time for me" "Wiggle Stick" and "Nurture my pig" are not really in the rotation lately, sadly.
We went to the concert last night at Pacific amphitheater they kicked ass. Best band of the night thank you for the good show with my son's first concert we had a great time psychobilly freakout 🤘🤘🇺🇲🇺🇲
These were great shows by them. I first was turned on to TRHH when they opened for White Zombie 94/95 Roseland Ballroom to Philly Civic Center. The "Big Sky"->"Baddest of the Bad" intro got me moving like nothing else. Definitely my first taste of live rockabilly. 🤘🏼
I was blessed enough to see them live about 5 years ago. But before that, the band I was in at the time was playing a gig about a block away from Cain's Ballroom and me and my drummer friend went up the street on break to hear RHH. The doors of Cain's were open so could see and hear them and they were killing it!!!
Was the audio straight from the board? Was it touched up? I've been watching for five or so songs and Jim never makes a mistake. That kinda shit ain't easy to play either. And I saw them a few times in those days. Always sounded great but you could hear a sour not or out of pitch bend now and then. Either way I love this video.
Saw them a first time in PARIS during the year 1995 with the SUBPOP drummer ......and another time in Paris too in a small lovely place, maybe two or three years later, with this drummer , two differents technics but so...GOOD! REV' is one of my fav' musician....twenty five years later, i enjoyed to learn his music, this period is the best one!!! RAGE, energy, FORCE and yougness( maybe a liitle packet of coke too huhuhu.....
I dont mean to be so off topic but does someone know of a method to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb lost the password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me
@Samson Beckett I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.

Saw them about 4 or 5 years ago at the Freemont theatre in Ca. With Voodoo glow skulls. One of the best shows I’ve been too.
WoW, amazing! I love Reverend!!! Greetings from Spain!
just found this! Great Band! Top notch stuff!
Jim and Jimbo have always RIPPED 💪
Saw them open for Soundgarden around this time. The Rev destroyed them.

Big Sky is a killer instrumental. THE SUPERSUCKERS do a great career of 400 bucks... check it out.

@@OnTourProduction what was the drummers name

Les Claypool is probably the only comparable asset
Where can i get a copy of this!? is it on DVD or video or anything? i need to have a copy of this!
This was recorded for an episode of HBO’s REVERB. The actual episode only has a handful of songs so this is the only place to watch it in full.
This feels like the appropriate Texas response to Social Distortion.
Wonder if he still drinks vodka tonics?
The Rev’s rockin the Red Bull these days 😂
That crowd looks like they belong at Taylor swift show. Not a rocker to be seen.
