Since I was a child life felt like a movie for me. I always felt like I am playing the main role in a movie and I would imagine scenes in my head and reenact them by myself. I have never met a Neptune in the first who didn't clearly express in one way or another that they have a very strong sense of fate, and I agree that all of the ones that I know have an innocent, attractive, child-like yet wise persona. And I agree with the body dysmorphia statement, I even hear two of them say that they were always "disgusted" by their bodies which shocked me because they were very attractive in my view that I would never ever thought they would have such strong negative feelings towards themselves. I am so grateful to learn about the "scared of the unconscious explosion" type of things, now I will try to be even more considerate towards them because it seems like this is what usually other people, myself included, are expecting from the Neptune in the first. They are the ones that people always go to and unburden themselves and cry, but I don't think I witnessed one of them actually really losing themselves and breaking in front of others. They store so many things inside. I would like to add one more thing, a primary wound for a Neptune in the first that I know very closely is being abandoned by the mother shortly after birth.
Thank you for this spot-on video. Neptune is at 0 degrees on my Ascendant in my 1st house in Sagittarius. I have always felt like I was born in the wrong time and I have always had a fluid sense of self…like I am a blank canvas and a Van Gogh painting all at once. I like to spend a lot of time in my inner world/imagination and I tend to daydream a lot. It is my safe haven from the stresses of the outer world. I am a natural hermit and always enjoyed playing by myself as a child. Meditation and listening to music are both key for me in terms of harmonizing my inner and outer worlds. Peace, love and light🌞
I have the same placement. The same sign, same degree, same house. Jupiter, my chart ruler, is in my 12th house. People usually don’t hear or see me. I have Pisces on the fourth… Jupiter traditional ruler. My family doesn’t see me either. Not a bad thing just a real thing. Solidarity!

I have Neptune conjunct ascendant, I don't know if it counts but I can heavily relate to this video either way! I'm also a Pisces rising, Venus, mercury, and Uranus in the 1st. This is spot on, I never knew Marilyn was also a Neptune rising. It makes sense of her really flirty, blond bimbo, dreamy roles :o
Yes, definitely, it counts. Neptune rising is similar to Pisces rising. That is a rule in astrology that covers every planet. For instance, the moon rising is similar to having cancer rising. Pluto rising is a lot like having Scorpio rising. It is not exactly the same, but similar. The only difference is that when a planet is rising, it brings in the qualities of the sign it is in, too. In the case of Marilyn, you see the brilliant, theatrical, attention-seeking, insecure qualities of Leo in her expression of Neptune rising.

I will address this conjunction in a future Q & A, but since I won't go so far as to talk about specific houses, I will put my thoughts here for you-
In the 1st house, we see a personality that constantly reinvents and restructures itself for the sake of ever-changing goals. They also tend to look at life in an unusual way. Coming across as "weird" is common in early life. The world tends to be quite a changeable place for them, a trippy place. It can be difficult to create a plan because first you need to figure out the reality of the situation. Since this is the house of “first starts” we get a lot of starts, lots of changing paths and new launches. The task of this placement is to undertake new starts without the chaos that usually accompanies them. The best part? This conjunction comes off as a divergent thinker, even brilliant!

Asc at 20 Sag, Neptune at 27 Sag. Intercepted SN, Sun, Venus, BML, & Mercury in Cap, Mars in Aqua. It’s a lot. I’ve had my chart read twice and even now, just past my 40th bday, I have to dig really deep to get into the real world requirements of my life. Neptune in the 1st can also bring mysterious ailments. It’s a lot.

Wonderful, insightful video, thanks! So relatable. Sun in Pisces here and Neptune in 12th house conjunct my ascendant in Sagittarius. My intuitions are stronger than strong (now that I have learned to trust them) though the clouds and fogginess are still around some times it is becoming more manageable. Meditation and artistic expression is key ingredients to a happy life for me. I have experienced all the things you mentioned to do with family and lived abroad for 7 years as I needed to get away from the family constellations to find my own two feet. Now-a-days, I find it easier to accept the karmic challenges to do with my family and be more objective about it- moving closer to my own inner soul essence in this life, mainly though meditation and art has helped me with this but I also accept that I must continue to work on my inner healing for the rest of this life. X

Thanks, I will remember that. ❤ Piscean/Neptunian people are some of the most resilient and strong ones in my opinion and can withstand the most difficult situation and get out of it stronger! We might complain at times but we withstand and never give up, lol. In various astrological forums the stereotypical description of Pisces is that they're weak and way too sensitive- this is only a fragment of the truth :-) Esoterically speaking Pisces is ruled by Pluto. The mystery &depht factor is massive! Take care. X

You seem so wise and confident in your craft, I would love to know what your opinion is on the different house systems. So far I experimented with placidus, whole sign and whole house system but still I'm not sure what system to work with for the long run. Could you share your thoughts on the system and with one primarily you use? Thank you.
I prefer Placidus. I was taught on Placidus. I also like that Placidus is the true and accurate division of the sky at the time of birth. But Whole sign seems to have its own clarity. I think there is no way around using equal house when the geography of birth dictates it. Otherwise, I haven't actually used the other 50 house systems. Some are not meant to be used; they are for research. Others are rather esoteric. To get a lot of really good info on the house systems you would probably want to turn to an EXPERT in house systems, someone who specializes in that. I consider myself a "general practitioner" and "practicing astrologer". I am only interested in theories insofar as they help me read a chart.

i’m a sag rising and my neptune is in cap in the first. i also have uranus in there also. and I have a YOD pointing to my neptune and my chart is also intercepted but not in the 1st house.

Hi Joy! my Neptune is 3 degrees Aquarius conjunct my rising in Aquarius at 9 degrees. I am incredibly sensitive, spiritual, and receptive to my environment like your Neptune in the 12th video. I also relate to this video heavily. I work at a sushi restaurant in Calabasas and guests usually don't see me (Dimitri) but they do notice me and have an opinion on me whether good or bad. Im never sure how to interpret this.

I have neptune conjunctmy ascendant from the 12th house. However, my neptune has grand trine with mars, saturn and moon. I'm not that dreamy, coz saturn always keeps me in reality. I practiced a lot of meditation, going into deep trance state that you don't feel the surroundings. Reading the chart, you need to read all the planets. Only single planet is not a story.

My natal Neptune is less than a degree into my first house in Sagittarius. Pretty much every planet in my chart is at around 20 degrees so all aspect my Neptune ascendant. The only planet other than Neptune in my northern hemisphere is Venus at 16 degrees Gemini so my chart is an upturned bowl with a lack of planets in personal houses. Add to that my three most personal planets, 19.34 sun, 13.13 moon and 19.36R mercury are intercepted in cancer, in the 7th house.
Talk about a mind f!

Yes, I would read that configuration as a sensitive Cap rising. Not only does Neptune coming out of the 12th house bring extreme sensitivity to the native, but the moon sensitizes everything it touches and even causes what it touches to "cycle". Capricorn, the goat, has a climbing, ambitious, determined nature. But I would expect that you would identify more with the older symbol for Capricorn- the sea goat. Around the time of the discovery of Neptune, the sea goat lost its tail. Instead of climbing as most cap risings do, I expect that you swim the currents of life. This configuration has an accurate inner knowledge about time and timing. Your intuition will take you anywhere you want to go.

I have cap moon 1 house, Saturn 1 house, Neptune Uranus both Capricorn 1 house.. Scorpio 10 house.. life seems just about work for me as I age.. a lonely path. I’m a female but feel more as in the male energy, very collected and focused. Neptune 1 house would it be balanced by the Capricorn energy?
Yes. I've noticed that Neptune in Capricorn does give the native more industry, less drift, and less interest in excess then when Neptune is found in other signs. In your case, the heavy dose of Cap surrounding it makes that even more true. A chart reading would be interesting in your case. There is a lot to say. That is a very juicy first house.

I don't blame you. With that configuration, you probably need a chart reading to see how to bring out its optimum. Something like this one depends upon the rest of the chart.

Can you please help me figure out if my Neptune is in my 1H or 2H? My Neptune is in Aquarius at 4° and my 2nd house starts in Aquarius at 4°. Some websites/apps say I have a 1H Neptune but some say I have a 2H Neptune. I honestly resonate with both, is that possible?
Sure. It is going to be in one house or another because houses and planets go to degrees then minutes, then seconds. Send me your exact birth time and rest of your birth data and I will give you the official placement in the Placidus system. I know something like this can be frustrating. It happened to me with my nodes. I had to go so far as to look at the seconds. There can be a multitude of reasons that you resonate with both placements, at least right now. Let's see what's going on.

The closer Neptune is to the ascendant (especially if in the same sign as the ascendant) the more true this info will be. However, there can be some significant complications. For instance. if you have Neptune in the first, but it is 25 degrees away in the next sign of Capricorn AND Neptune is conjunct both Uranus and Saturn, you have to come in for a reading in that case because that is way too complex to do a general video. What are your circumstances when it comes to Neptune?
Thank you for asking, I hope neptune is in the 1st and has the qualities of neptun in the first! My rising is 11° saggitarius, and neptune is 16° capricorn..I know if it had a conjunction to the rising, it would be more intensive, but does it works even without same sign as the ascendant or the conjunction?

The presence of Uranus creates a persona that appears to have many diverse talents, an unorthodox person. In the first house, people see this about you right away. The way you approach the world is with a lot of curiosity. The energy of Capricorn also grounds you. No matter what planets are involved, Cap always ends up grounding and creating goal-orientation.
