Fantastic! What a sweet place. And excellent video, light, weather. Besides, I found this village at the Google Maps, but wouldn't disclose, as author himself doesn't want. Please, publish more your videos!
Epic flight! Stunning scenery! I had forgotten just how beautiful northern Spain is, you are very lucky to live there. I must go back there with my Disco soon!
Hi pwrkiter, thanks for your comment. Yes, it is nice, I love it. But unfortunately I don’t live there, just on vacation. Actually going there today!! But without my disco, who died in Mediterranean Sea a month ago. Never try to land in a boat, I only achieved a 50% of success, and a failed landing its fatal...
For your telemetry overlays, use airspeed and altitude over ground in the two gauges on either side of the overlay template. Using GPS speed over ground is misleading, and the altitude value is actually terrain height per gps location. I always give credit to Kenth Jensen for his brilliant work.
Witam W jaki sposób nagrałeś wskaźniki, poziom baterii, kompas itd? Ja mogę nagrać tylko wideo. Hi, How did you record indicators, battery level, compass, etc.? I can only record video.
Hi, telemetry is recorded automatically in the app and uploaded also automatically to your parrot account. To download it and use it on the video I used the software you can find in the video description. Cheers
Hi Mily1200! Thanks for your comment. As well as you, I normally loose contact between 1 and 1.2 km, but this day it was an specially clear day and I didn’t loose contact in all the flight. I guess it depends a lot on the atmosphere conditions.
Hi, very nice video! good job!! Have a question for you: How do you change the height limit? I see on my disco that I can climb only up to 150 m high. when I make a flight plan you can also configure only 150 m. Your answer would be very helpful. Thank you very much
Hi Slick Tires, thanks for your comment. Well, it is. But planes fly over 5.000m. And the nearest airport was at more than 70km and it was just an experiment. But yes, we are not supposed to fly so high.
Hey Columbus Beautiful vid! Quick question mate, I've just purchased one of these disco's if I set the altitude at 150m does that take into account elevation and descent of the earth or is it from the point of take off, I'm looking at doing a waypoint flight and its about 15km return, in-between there is a few hills which are around 100m in elevation, will the bird keep a steady 150m above current ground level? TIA
Hi cammo1986 ! Thanks for your comment. That question was the main reason of doing this video. I wanted to see how the disco uses altitude, and the answer was that his altitude is always from the takeoff point. So if you want to plan a flight with mountains you should study before their relative altitude from your takeoff point. Google earth helps. BR!
Hi Reinhard, thanks for your comment. You can configure the physical limits in the menu of your smartphone when it’s connected to your disco using the FreeFlight app. It works with manual flight and autopilot flight.
Danke. Hello I am not a beginner. It's just funny that nobody here wants to explain exactly how he raises the limits. If you want to make the settings in freeFlight under security, then you end up with 150m height. And there you can not change it unless you have found another way. And that would be nice if you would tell us the trick. Thank you
Hi again Reinhard. My apologies, I don’t modify those settings since summer, so I didn’t remember it’s not an easy app. If you give me a couple of days I’ll make a video explaining it.
Unfortunately I have a second problem. Although I get the data from the flightData Manager but the graphics for Nick and roll does not work. The show nothing. They don't move. I asked Kenth Jensen, but he does not answer. The data is available in the file for Google Earth and in the Excel sheet. It's probably Garmin Virb ???? Do you have an idea?
Hi GlennJacobsen, thanks for your comment. You can configure the geolimits as you want. Check this video to see how: ruclips.net/video/Rjmdmg3QSC8/видео.html
Columbus GAB cool, thanks! I thought geofence only applied to distance and that the limits were due to FAA regulations. Great! When there’s an uneven terrain, altitude limitations can be more dangerous when you RTH.
Beautiful video. I really enjoyed it. I have a 2 questions. 1- Can you start with Waypoints "AutoPilot" then at landing you stop that feature and take control of landing manually? 2- What is the quality of the real time video? Is it clear with 1080 resolution or it has some noise? Thanks again
Hi Suhail Alshahrani, thanks for your comment. Well, the quality of the real time video must be something like 720, for sure less than 1080, but enough to see perfectly what you need to see. About the change from auto flight to manual mode, it’s so easy. You only need to touch any command in the controller and it automatically changes to manual mode. The opposite movement I think it make the plane begin again all the flight plan from point 1, but I never tried it. BR
Hi dna2087, thanks for your comment. Actually I didn’t loose connection in all the flight, probably because of the extremely clear atmosphere of the day. You can see in the video how I was moving the camera even in the top of the mountain. Two days before I tried the same flight in a cloudy day and I lost connection at 800m inside the clouds. Also, in that flight, I run out of battery in my iPhone, so I panic and began to press home button. I thought it was lost when it suddenly appeared flying in circles over home position. It reminded me that sequence in interestelar movie when they find the Indian drone. I’ll upload that video this afternoon!!!
Columbus GAB best movie ever ah ah. Yes I have a h301s which is similar in many ways, but the big annoying difference is that one can't program way points, which would in theory be possible since it has RTH with a GPS.... Anyways this disco wing is well designed and if u get vidéo feedback beyond 1km it's already very cool!!
Actually I had this video feedback at 2km distance, you can see it in the video, minute 11:30. I have to say that what I enjoy more about Disco is this Flight Plan feature. I enjoy a lot thinking about new routes, studying the terrain in google earth to manage altitude, and finally flying it expecting everything goes right. In some flights you loose contact with the disco and you have to trust in the flight plan you programed, its so cool when you recover the contact. You can loose it if you force it to the limit: ruclips.net/video/8Oh7XqiQ5jU/видео.html.
Hi Chris j, thanks for your comment. In my experience it normally begins to loose connection at about 1000m. The furtherest day was the day of this video. It was flying in autopilot mode, but I never lost connection. It depends a lot on the whether and atmosphere conditions.

What beautiful country you live in. I must make it there one day. Oh, and bring my Disco!
Phantastic flight.....thanks for showing!
Thank you Michael
This definitely was mine blowing perfect music for this flight thanks bro appreciate it 💯👌
Thanks Travis!!
magnific! perfect , was on hold to buy one, but now i m decided ! thx for the effort of making this video
juwain3 thank you! It was a pleasure. Enjoy it!!
excellent flight!
That is fantastic. !!!!!
Sweet tunes imo, and great footage!
Great Video!
Very nice flight :)))
This was a sweet flight man. Great LR flight, views and sweet tunes bruh. Thumbs way up ☺
Thank you Aero FPV!!!

Dave Folts thanks for your comments. I totally agree.
Great video
Mark Thompson, thanks!!
Hello, I have the same device, but my screen telemetry information is not like yours, what should I do, thank you
Good video! Just a question, configuration of the physical limits work also with the FreeFligh Pro 5.2.0? Thanks for help.
Hi GECO64, sorry I missed your comment. I think all this configurations still work in current versions.
Awesome flight! I have only had 2 flights on my Disco. What’s the furtherest you have flown without losing video connection?
Witam W jaki sposób nagrałeś wskaźniki, poziom baterii, kompas itd?
Ja mogę nagrać tylko wideo.

I can only record video.
Hi, telemetry is recorded automatically in the app and uploaded also automatically to your parrot account. To download it and use it on the video I used the software you can find in the video description. Cheers
hi what is the flight data video screen called? it is different from the original parrot.
Hi Graziano, you can see all the software details in the video description.
Whats the max distance between waypoints aloud ?
Hi The Sky Pod, I think there’s no limits in distance between waypoints.
wow, how beautiful is this region?
Hi Duke, thanks for your comment. It’s the north coast of Spain. Near France, so you must visit.
Columbus GAB man, it's just... stunning. Quedé enamorado, cómo llego allá!
What flight app is this, if you dont mind me asking...looks different than freeflight pro...yes, I'm a newbie disco owner..😀
Espectacular, qué parte de España es? Un saludo
Asturias 😉
Hey mate,
How is it possible you did not lose contact with dron? I saw you still operate camera 0.o I got something like 1.3km and lose contact.
Hi Mily1200! Thanks for your comment. As well as you, I normally loose contact between 1 and 1.2 km, but this day it was an specially clear day and I didn’t loose contact in all the flight. I guess it depends a lot on the atmosphere conditions.
Columbus GAB Good call. I will try in the Summer :) thanks for reply back. Good luck.

Hi Guillermo, I already have a video explaining that. Watch it here: ruclips.net/video/Rjmdmg3QSC8/видео.html
Are you under power for the entire flight or do you coast at times? Great flight by the way.
Hi rlachermeier, I flew with a flight plan all the time except the las 2 minutes for landing.
Che App. si usa in questo video??
Hi Giuseppe, all the software used in this video is written in the description. For the final video I user Apple iMovie app.
Amazing!
Grand Master, thanks!!
Absolutely Brilliant!! - Sub#35
Thanks!!
I see how you used that circling technique to climb, but how did you get it to leave the max altitude of 200 meters?
Hi Grand Master, check this video: ruclips.net/video/Rjmdmg3QSC8/видео.html
OK thanks!
isn't that too high? couldn't it risk collision with a GA aircraft?
Hi Slick Tires, thanks for your comment. Well, it is. But planes fly over 5.000m. And the nearest airport was at more than 70km and it was just an experiment. But yes, we are not supposed to fly so high.
