I appreciate that they arent fully revealing what he looks like in the marketing. I hope they have the cajones to keep that up through the movie's release.
i found out not too long ago that the original Nosferatu was loosely adapted from Bram Stoker's Dracula. so, i was hesitant to want to watch a remake of a loose adaptation when we already have Coppola's Dracula who many have stated to be the most accurate (if not faithful) to the author's story. having said that, the visuals here is stunning and the bits and pieces they put together in the trailer looks intriguing.
It’s not really a loose adaptation, i think the only things changed were the setting, characters names, and that Orlok is a rat instead of a bat (I guess you could call it a loose adaptation). But If you really wanted a loose adaptation, look into the 1921 films plot (it’s lost media sadly)
Would have been pretty cool if instead they connected this to the movie, "The Last Voyage of the Demeter". It seems like from the trailer that the Demeter is still involved but not like the movie about it.
I love how this is marketed. Count Orlok is kept in the shadows, which adds a layer of mystery to it.

No one cares
so basically Bram Stocker's Dracula..
Look up the history of the original Nosferatu movie.
So basically it's a recut of Francis Ford Coppolas Dracula with (slightly) different actors.

This looks like Coppola´s Dracula without bad casting decisions
It's obvious that you haven't seen any Robert Eggers movies.
Anthony Hopkins as Van Helsing was bad?????
It looks very different, my friend. And I love Coppola's Dracula.
@@Legba85 He DID overact a tad..
@@ulfingvar1”he did overact a tad.” Words never thought could be spoken about Hopkins.
