I like pork chops with cream of mushroom soup over rice. One of my family's comfort food.
Try adding 1tsp of dry mustard powder! You don't taste it, but it adds a certain something no one will guess 😂

Glad I watched this because I had a pork tenderloin that I needed to use up, so I sliced it and did your first crockpot recipe, (or as close as I could with what I had), served with rice and veggies. Hubby liked it. He has not been thrilled with my usual way I make pork, and this was much easier.

We made your crockpot pork chop recipe tonight. It was wonderful! We followed the recipe easily, but used 12 pork chops. We doubled the recipe as far as the wet ingredients and had loads of gravy for our mashed potatoes and chops. Most tender, melt in your mouth pork chops, ever! Gold star ⭐. Going on the family rotation menu for sure. Six hours on low in crockpot...perfect! Thank you.❤️ Thank you!

I make this without the soup mix and use canned French onion . My daughter has a gall bladder issue and corn will bring her to her knees and it’s in most packets of anything! So if you have this problem, that’s an easy substitute. This is a go to recipe!

I just want to say I absolutely love your videos! Everything about them is so comforting from your voice and the way you describe the recipes to the types of food you make and the great little shortcuts or the extra little tweaks you make to recipes and the way you mention maybe what was supposed to be in a recipe but you didn't have it so you just substituted something else. I lost my mother 2 years ago after many years of battling with infections and complications from being a paraplegic after a car accident she was in when I was 15 so we never got that special time when moms teach their daughters stuff like cooking. Watching you warms my heart and makes me think that maybe that's what it would have been like to learn from her so God bless you and thank you for sharing your time and recipes with us. I know it may seem like a simple thing to some but sometimes that's all it takes to really make a difference to someone. So thank you again for your warmth and kindness in sharing a little bit of love with every meal❤

I really enjoy Hello Fresh, they have lots of low calorie options but they show you how to make them so flavorful. And we are finding as our kids get older that it's just the two of us here alot too and it's hard to buy ingredients for just two servings sometimes. 👋 hello, new here to your channel. This is the channel I’ve been looking for! I have never owned a crockpot or cooked in a crockpot. I know zero about them! But I want to start crockpot cooking, so I can have meals ready for later. Instead of jumping up, trying to take things out of the freezer defrost them and get them done in A half hour and eat!😅
So my first question is… What is the best type of crockpot to purchase and what size would I need for two people with a little bit of leftover? Next question, is a crock pot in slow cooker, the same thing??
I don’t really eat pork chops. I kind of like them but I’ve never liked them because I’ve never known how to cook them. And can you recommend an excellent easy every day meal crock pot cooking book? Not real fancy stuff just every day stuff like chili chicken soup just a lot of easy quick normal stuff not too much fancy gourmet stuff!

Spraying the crockpot...... something I never do after they made crockpot liners! Same with any kind of baked casserole dish or dessert.... they also make pan liners that you can get 100 to a box on Amazon.
For a 9 x 13 pan, cut the liner in two and you can line TWO pans! No more stuck on lasagna, or cherry cobbler to clean up afterwards. I also use them when doing something sticky on my counters.... wipe the counter with a clean, damp cloth then place the liner on the still DAMP counter and it clings to the counter. Then I will roll my cheeseballs in cheese or place my egg wash and cracker crumb mixtures when breading items. When you are finished, pick up the edges and throw it all away with no mess.
Everytime I see anybody still spraying their crockpots with oil spray, I just shake my head! LOL

Hello Mel. Lady, you never let us down. Looks like every recipe is a keeper. Would try them all. I think replacing the ground beef for breakfast sausage in the Tex-Mex recipe and making scramble eggs on the side would make awesome breakfast burritos. I made the smothered pork chop recipe today. I added whole carrots to the crockpot just for fun. The pork chops were amazing! I have never had chops that were so tender. I like crockpot meals when I take food to the neighbors or friends when they have had surgery or were sick.
If you bring dinner in the crockpot it retains the heat well and you can plug it back in if you need to reheat it. Then I bring some containers and after they eat, I parcel out the rest in meal size portions and freeze or put them in their fridge. I wash up the dishes and the crockpot and take it home.
