This was a very tensed movie, I was not able to follow it completely because of the language. I really understand Oliverio, he felt hurt and alone when his dad died and his mom having a affair with another man. Kids are very sensitive and not easy to talk to others and especially when they don't trust people. Oliverio had some trust in that girl, because he had feelings for her and had some moments to enjoy him-self, and it did gave him some strength to move on. When his mom saw that her son was not doing well, she took the side of her son and got a rit of her lover, that was a very smart decision from his mom. It was very emotional to see that Oliverio was sleeping in his own bed again and started loving his mom. Here we all can see, when a kid is going through some difficulties, don't be harsh on them, but show them love and be there for them.
